You might want to check http://bfkhdb.selaron.de/index.php and look for their 1942FH screennames and u can see when and where they last played
Should make it easier to contact them.
However i am not sure if something like that exists for BF2 tho.

Welcome Mentat, sorry about your Registration issues but I see they are all sorted now.

I'm not really sure how many people around here are playing FH at the moment? There is a large amount playing Guild Wars 2 as well as DayZ and ArmA2 and even BF3.

A few of us have already pre-purchased Borderlands 2 so I'm sure if you have interest in any of the above, you shouldn't have any trouble finding a game.

Welcome here, i am not playing anything at the moment since i can't get FH to run smoothly on my pc soundwise and i recently had knee surgery so can't sit behind a pc that long.

I had noticed a few on that site but I'd never actively recruit from it or any other website for that matter; it's a sh1tty thing to do.

I'm more curious about the floaters who haven't really found a place online to hang their hats. If we could track down a few of them that would be epic.

So i just read this thread, one fascinating read!

I struggle to remember a lot of what went on from my perspective all those years ago (i think i was only 13 when i joined wolf!) but i do remember having a LOT of fun there with you lot. The endless nights of FH (no doubt driving the admins to distraction with various antics!) will stick in my mind for a long time, and i still regard FH as the best multiplayer game i've ever played.
I hope i didn't cause too much trouble back then, although i must admit it was a lot of fun!

Also, no prizes for guessing who the unfortunate Spitfire pilot in the attached screenshot is. I even had the time to screenie him on the way down!
Unbelievably i still have all my old FH screenshots, there must be about a thousand of them!

My balls have been exceptionally stressed, so much so, that they eventually burst. I need better balls, that can handle the stress. Do you manufacture better balls?

If so, where can they be aquired, and at what cost? Is delivery included? Do you have 2 day shipping?

P.S. It is good to see some old friends, WOLF was the first forum I ever joined, not just gaming community. I miss the days of FH 1. I wonder where and what many of you have been up too (except Goog ).
