If your are going to play GW2, you should have a look at your hall. With just 9 points you get a übercute cat minipet. :icon_cheesygrin:

At least for me that's the best to get...

I guess you just have to put more into the hall. I am sure you slew Kanaxi "once" - or even Urgoz or played the Sorrow's Furnace Quests. With just two more statues you get +3.

And look at the minipets. You should just get some because all your characters had birthday in the meantime. But them in the Hall, if you are lucky you get a rare or unique also, that would be another +2.

So the Tabby Cat is yours.

And let's not forget all those heroes you have accquired - they can all be put into the Hall of Monuments after you upgraded their armor (any upgrade will do).

Plus there are the rare companions like the Black Moa or the Imperial Phoenix from Cantha. The "fellowship" line is really the easiest to get points in the Hall of Monuments.

And, yes, minipets: you're all day 1 GW1 players, you should get bombarded with birthday presents containing minipets when you log in now. Just put them in the Hall of Monuments for another handful of points (in case you receive a "Zhu Hanuku" kraken give that one to me and I'll give you loads of stuff you can put in the Hall of Monuments).

so i have to buy EoTN to unlock HoM and the points or is EoTN just for HoM and i all ready have the points, dont really want to spend 20$ on a game that i wont play. but fluff items a cool and i like mini pets

You have to own EoTN to get access to the HoM. You also have to play it to get the Monumental Tapestries.

And of course you have to link EoTN to your old GW1 account to get the rewards, you have done with it.

But you can still fill the Hall after the release of GW2 and have access to all the items with your GW2 characters. So there's no need to hurry.

Yea I reloaded and tried to get back into it about a year ago. I had to call Areanet to get my user account details then. I thought I had switched my email, I guess not. Not even sure what that email is now.

You already have some points in there so you must see some statues in front of the monuments in your Hall of Monuments. There are 5 monuments where you can "put stuff in" to get statues, but before you can do that you have to put a tapestry on the wall behind the monument. You get those tapestries by playing the storyline of Eye of the North - or you buy them from other players. Please note that there are two "versions" of the Hall of Monuments: one is character based and one is account based. You can simply switch between them by speaking to "Kimmes the Historian", an NPC within the Hall of Monuments.

If you want to "put something in the monument" you simply click on it. You'll then see a list of "somethings" you can put in that particular monument. If you want to put NPCs or special pets in the Monument of Fellowship those NPCs and/or special pets have to be in your party while doing so. If you want to put minipets of weapons in the appropriate monument you need them within your inventory. Only at the Monument of Honor you need nothing but the titles and achievements of you character, e.x. "completed Nightfall storyline" or "completed Urgoz's Warren" of "vanquished Elona". All in all you should try not only your main character but even all your twinks, maybe they have done things or have stuff your main character hasn't.
