League Idea - Full Course Yellows

Now before you go flipping tables, think of the positives to this side of this.

First off, this would only be for major wrecks involving 2-3+ cars, thrown by server admins. But from what I've seen in league races, even WITH fast repairs, drivers in wrecks, especially multiple-car wrecks, drivers will wait up for traffic to drive with after pitting in / using fast repair. Or sometimes the driver doesn't car to continue after crashing out.

Again this wouldn't apply to local yellows, where a car crashes by itself.

But if admins confer and agree there should be a full course yellow thrown, it could make things interesting.

It would take quite a bit of testing obviously... thoughts?

I'm all for testing it because it could certainly come in handy especially in big wrecks like you say.

Isn't that something that happens in RL races already?

And how easy is it for other driving "Marshalls" to do it without any risk crashing themselves?

Having a dedicated non driving Marshall/Admin might also be an idea, but i can imagine that will get boring over time.

Not really, full course yellows are pretty rare in Blancpain, they're almost always local cautions.

I think I've only seen 1 or 2 full course yellows and it's because there was either multiple offs where equipment was needed to remove cars in dangerous areas or major debris and/or track damage.
