So I'm pretty far into the progression of how I envision Fragtard ultimately being setup and have two more areas I'd like to address; downloads and the 332.
Downloads are still up in the air because I've still not fully decided on how to properly handle them via Wordpress. I'll have this ironed out shortly so for now, I'd like to discuss the 332.
I'm just trying to flush out exactly what you want new potential members to see in hopes of gaining their interest in joining your ranks.
These questions will be pretty straight forward and will all be on your own 332 Viking Squadron Page on Fragtard Blog.
BTW, I'm going to require the nicest, 1920x1080 picture you guys can find for the background. I'll also need some idea of the colors you'll want to fly.
1. Is the 332 a clan?
The 332 is not a clan per-se, we're a group gamers who share similar interests in objective style teamplay and completing objectives.
2. Will I have to meet a minimum weekly, bi-weekly and/or monthly minimum time requirement to be considered a member of the squad?
No.
...however, we will require you attend some gatherings initially so we can get a sense of the type of player you are. We maintain a positive, welcoming and enjoyable semi-serious gaming atmosphere and keeping within this environment is paramount.
3. What games does the 332 play?
Currently we lean more toward simulations such as IL2 (1946), Rise of Flight, and Armed Assault 2.
4. When does the 332 play?
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 20:00 GMT+1 (2:13 EST).
5. Is there a play schedule somewhere I can view?
Typically we post our play schedule on a weekly rotating basis based off our members availability. All events can be found on our Calendar.
Events and details are always posted in our 332 Viking Squadron Forum.
6. Where is the 332 based out of?
We are a European based Squad with members who span the globe. One of our biggest n00b members lives in Cana-duh and the other is a hobbit who makes wooden shoes out of Holland.
...
As it stands, this is still very much a work in progress and some of the above will certainly have to change.
Also, it's open to any and all feedback you guys think will help a n00bie understand what it is to becoming a member of the 332.
