Metro: Last Light REDUX on Steam

So I played quite far through Last Light the original version up until a point where I got stuck then I put it down for a while. I've been meaning to go back to it and when I saw the Redux version on sale I had to pick it up and dive back in.

Wow.

This game looked fantastic in 1080p in original form, with the Redux version maxed out at 1440p (4K runs but at 30fps, prefer 60fps for fps) it looks absolutely sublime.

I just wanted to give a heads up that if anyone wanted to try out the upgraded version, it is 100% worth it.

I forgot just how good the gameplay is too, which is easy to forget to mention when every few seconds I'm thinking "wow" at how incredibly good looking this game is.

Definitely recommended! At £3 it's an absolute no-brainer :icon_eek:

Metro is a terrific series, very immersive, beautiful and deadly.

The Cynical Brit called it one of the best games of the year when he reviewed it. It's one of those games that forces you to think about your approach to certain situations as well as use appropriate weaponry for the situation at hand.

Love it although I still have not as of yet finished it.

I think I stopped because I got content ID matched on YouTube and had to take my videos down. I think that took the wind out of my sales a bit.

I agree Duke, I've always loved how there were multiple ways to tackle a situation. As I said (Quick!) I've played this game loads already I just wanted to highlight how the Redux version is definitely worth the upgrade over the original if anyone wanted to get back into it or give it a try. :icon_cool:
