My Video Card Collage!

I posted this over at TLB last year and everyone thought it was geeky cool and on d0000ks suggestion I'm posting it here. I actually have another 8 or 9 cards, mostly older one's from the 90s, that were sent to me by a very generous TLB member but I haven't mounted them yet. I was even going to put up a ATI 5850 that I don't use anymore but just sold it on ebay a few days ago for $130.00 so yay beer for me!

Had some old retro video cards kicking around so I figured I would display my collection of uber geekness. Top, from left to right:
ATI X700
ATI 9800 pro
ATI 9700

Bottom, left to right:

nVidia Ti4600
nVidia 6800 GT

Accepting donations for your old (and even broken) video cards :)

That's really awesome man!

I'll certainly send you my 8800GTS and see what else I can dig up around here.

9700 Pro was where it was at. I remember getting one of those and thinking it was the most awesome thing ever.

Do you want an 8800GT?

I think I also have a Radeon X800XTX and a X1900XTX which you're welcome to if I can find it.

Nice collection, I have chewed through a fair amount of those myself but never
got the brilliant idea to frame them for my gaming room :D

Sweet art on the wall! :D
Really cool idea! I wish I had the brains to come up with something like that. I should've framed all my old CPUs and stick a pin through them, just like collectors do with butterflies. That would've freaked out those entomologists

lol thanks guys.

If you guys want to send me an old card that would be cool, send me a pm and I'll give my addy. I'll paypal you the shipping cost. When sending it use the cheapest method available please - I don't care if it takes 6 weeks to get here from Europe or wherever.

I'm a little partial to the nVidia Ti4600 myself as that was my first real video card. It replaced the MX400 I had... what a hunk of shit. But now I'm looking for one as I gave that one away years ago... if anyone has an old MX series card please do send!

The Ti4XXXX range was really good. I had a Ti4400 but replaced with the 9700pro. Shame about the follow up FX5XXXX 'I've got a gas turbine in my PC' range.

I need to get up into the attic and see what I can find.

Its given me an idea, a bad one. I wonder how practical it is, to make a PC, outside its case, all mounted in a wall. So all the components are mounted like pictures but actually work.

Nice collection Smack! Really nice idea to cheer up those boring walls with something other than paintings or pictures.

I might have a few broken cards laying around.

[SUP]I think i have a ti4600 with some blown capacitors. You want that?[/SUP]

Nvm 4600 is gone. Must have thrown it out.

I did find a 6600GT AGP and some kind of ATI PCI-E card. Neither of them work.
I wish I'd seen this thread 2 weeks earlier. My brother just bought a vid card to replace his 4890HD that crapped out. I threw that one out.

I've sort of done this before. It was cool.
