New Club Logo Submission

Hey guys! I'm trying my hand at a new club logo for my region- Michigan. I don't think anyone here is a part of that club, but still you can provide some feedback. The current one is pretty bland and doesn't really represent us, so there is talk to redoing it. I naturally stepped in to design something.

I decided to go with incorporating the state's shape into the design. Michigan and the Great Lakes are one of the most recognizable areas of the States. Tell me what you think!
