New Porsche 911 GT3 Cup

Wing 2 currently, with 21.5 on the fronts and 21.0 on the backs. ARB 2 in the front, ARB 5 in the back. Minor tweaks to the set Nejtun posted earlier basically.

I'll try wing 1 tonight. I felt pretty in control of the car with wing 2, I think I can still handle it at wing 1.

I've only been using Baseline on the Ring trying to get a feel for the car. I agree, the steering is quite different, you really have to turn in earlier then you would in the Merc. Once you adjust to the earlier turn in, it gets easier. I agree on the braking issue, normally on the first uphill going into the double right hander, you don't need to brake just lift, but right now I have to brake or it understeers into the wall. Also at marker 5, leading to the slight left hander coming off the straight, I am having to touch the brakes there, where normally that is just a lift. Couple of other spots like that. A few spots it is faster, you can fly through the little karousel! But really, it is quite fun on the back after you get through the big karousel. Sounds like I need to try a different setup to gain more time.

This cars awesome! I think you can probably dial out the understeer a lot but it will never drive like a GT3 car. Honestly it feels like a more lively version of the C-Spec to me although it seems to give better road feel and is more easily saved.

I managed a few laps at Nordshleiffelledeggatedn-gmBh last night and was the most fun I've had on that track since purchase.

Great car!

No, nothing is ever as much fun as Mid-Ohio with the exception of VIR. Philip Island and Interlagos run a close second and third though :)

Does anyone have any idea what the optimum hot tire pressures are?
i run front 145 kPa and rear 155 kPa. this way the hot temperatures should be around the optimal tire temps (assuming you don't lock brakes). optimal hot tires are around 175-180 kPa and below 100C (a little bit off shouldn't be a problem)

with the tire set i run you also have extremely balenced tire wear :) around 91% wear after 25 min race on all 4 tires
