I know you want to make this work Kyle but there's absolutely no way I'm going to be able to do that much driving.

We need another Driver to fill in for Peeble or I'm off as well. I know my limitations and this is just too much an ask for me, sorry.

That was how much driving you were doing before with four drivers.... You do that much driving every night we do practice pals.

Whether or not I, or someone else, fills in for peeble, you'll still have about five stints.

Kyle I'm not going to argue with you. I've already stated numerous times that we need 4 people and that's what I signed up for.

The strain of racing that long is a lot harder on me than any Practice Pals Session at even twice the length.

If I was a sub 30 rubber man like most of you here then it would be a breeze but given how wrecked I was after the last 24 hr event I'm not going to push myself again.

The last event I was up and semi lucid for 26 hours (except the few times exhaustion overcame me and I fell asleep at my Computer chair). I'm 48 now and this is nowhere as easy as it was at 28.

I know you have your heart set on it but I'm not going to over-commit to something I know is going to be this hard on me.

Incidentally I'm going to continue holding Saturday sessions and practicing the Audi here until the event.

If we can find a 4th I'll be ready but if we can't I'm very sorry but I will be withdrawing.

 still confused because even if we had a fourth, you'd still be driving five stints.

But ok, I'll drive two of your stints to. Might as well. So you only have to drive three stints. How's that?

I don't even want to drive 5 stints Kyle. This isn't the 12 turns of Daytona, this is 170 turns of pure h3ll; it's going to be exhausting.

I was very much hoping we'd have a 6 Driver Team and was working toward that end. Things happened and now we're down to 3 which is below what I've stated from the beginning I was willing to sign up for.

I said twice now you can drive only three stints. That is below even what you'd be expected to drive with six drivers. Even with a six man Ruf team you've got four hours of driving. I'm not sure what else is your issue but I'm making this incredibly easy for you. You seem to be expecting to only have to race an hour....

lol whatever. You simply cannot respect what I've stated from the beginning so I'm not taking ownership of it.

For anyone interested I'm in the practice hosted by Karel Vorechovsky.

The session I was in just ended so I've put up another 4 hour session.

Hope to see you there :)

I'll be doing a bit of practice today if anyone is interested. Also would like a roll call for our confirmed C-Spec drivers :)

I'm actually sore from yesterday. I drove about 4 - 5 hours and my left hip was absolutely screaming at me. I don't know what it is about this track but it is an absolute killer for my hip?

My hands are also still a bit sore I'm guessing from how tightly I grip the wheel here so I'm not going to be driving again until tomorrow.

No problem. Was just letting people know if they're interested in turning some laps. About 2 hours left in this session

The tire pressures seem awfully low. Is that how they're supposed to be on the Audi? From the other GT3 cars I've driven everybody recommended hot pressures of around 185-190 kPa.

The temperatures look good but your tires might wear out less quickly with higher starting pressures.
After another full fuel run yesterday, this time with much higher (normal) tire pressures, it seemed to have no impact on tire wear. By the end, I was still in the low 80% for the rears. Odd, I'd say.

Hmm, that's very weird. I'm sure it would have to make some difference, or maybe just in the first half of the stint, as in, how fast the tires go up to operating pressures/temperature.

Here is the current C-spec setup with less wing. I find it much nicer to drive on fresh tires and it is much faster as well.

It might get a little more tail-happy towards lap 5-7 so we'll have to try it out and see if wing 8.25 is too low. It was on 14.xx before which I believe was too high. If 8.25 doesn't work we can always go up to ~10 or make the front more stiff via other settings.
