Oval Street Stock Series

Yes - I'm going there. I need to satisfy my curiosity about the oval racing, so I've signed up for my first race after about 10 minutes practice. Should be fun (read: chaos)!

I'll post up how it goes, wish me luck

If anyone is up for some Mazdaness I'll hop on TS after this race (9pm GMT). If you want a laugh you can be my spotter

I'll start messing around in Oval once I've been in C-Class Road for a bit.

Last night I nearly dropped another $80 on tracks and cars and decided to just shut off the Computer and go to bed for a while.

Lol, smart move, this game sure has the potential to be a huge money pit...
I guess we have plenty of practice to do before we master every car on every track we already have anyway...

Yeah slowly does it Duke, I will be getting more tracks etc. but bit by bit. I'm enjoying the Mazda at the moment so much I'll likely stick with that for a while, and join in the Cadillac series when it hits Brands Hatch.

My second Oval race went well, I started 12th, finished 2nd with 0 incident points! Well chuffed with that

Started 6th out of 17, and got my first win with only 2 incident points when someone turned into me. Happy with that.

I'm using the Jimmie Johnson spotter soundpack (cussing version) and it adds so much this sim, especially in Oval.

"Ok let's get these bitches outta the way" when I'm coming up to a group of lapped cars. Love it
