Just me I think but it's great fun and marvelous scenery. However the drawback is having to purchase all planes. But we can with no problems play with the default stock planes

Sure! At the moment I have no plans to purchase any more planes than the stock (but it seems there is already a few in the announced pack).
I'll buy it......hold on.....just bought it and is downloading it now B-)
Guess it will be some weeks before I'm ready to fly in any organized fashion - I fear I have lots of crashing to do in the near future lol.
Would be fun to try a session online sometime then?

That's bad I hope there are possibilities for a coop campaign or at least some good coop missions. I haven't tried more than installing, updating and (on the ground) crashed with a hangar (my throttle works at least lol)

It takes some getting used to, these old crates
I can get on TS some evening and tech you the ropes about profiles.
You have to create a profile for each plane that suits the characteristics
of that particular crate

Yesterday I managed to take off and land without dying (well, the plane died but I survived)
I have some problems with my Track IR as it is veeeeery slow to move back to "neutral position" after I've looked left or right (or any direction for that matter).
Might be a problem with my Track IR. Have anyone experienced this before?

No problems here, do you have the latest tir drivers?

Yup! Checked that yesterday. I should probably upgrade to TIR 5, my 3 is getting old (but still works great!)

Yesterday I started the training campaign and flew 2 missions in the Spad XIII. Flying this crate is a piece of cake, no problems taking off or landing. But I set the deadzones/curves for all axis prior to flying B-)

My TIR3 with vector expansion behaved normally, so maybe you should look at your settings?

Didn't find a key for raising/lowering landing gear, though. Is that automatic?

Two more training missions mastered. Balloon attack is not that easy it seems - you need to get very close.

Then I flew 15 minutes on a newb server and shot down 2 human piloted planes in the Spad XIII. 1 Albatros and 1 bomber (maybe a Gotha?). Got wounded by the rear gunner and crash landed in friendly territory. Was good fun for 1.5 hours this afternoon.

Now my arm hurts a little for no trim and the Warthog is pretty stiff. Never notice that in DCS-A10C.
