I was just looking at some Saint's Row sh1t on YouTube today because I'm still on the fence about whether or not to buy the game. Although it hasn't helped in the decision making process I caught this video on YouTube today and it's hysterical nonetheless:

It's funny, I was looking at saints row 4 stuff on you tube yesterday as well, and stumbled upon the Morgan Freeman one about the blow up doll, really rather amusing what what! I'm a massive Walken fan, (have you seen "Stand Up Guys" with Al Pacino yet? Amazeballs) and this is great :lol:

It's a fun game but they don't hold my interest all that long. It's just too comically stupid for me to get invested in for any length of time.

At least that's how it was for Saints Row 3.

See, I have the exact opposite reaction. The GTA games bore the piss out of me. Usually because I feel like I'm fighting the controls every step of the way. I actually really enjoy the ridiculous over-the-top quality of the SR games, or at least SR3. It's just fun to screw around with while you're working your way through the game. But yeah, you can't take it seriously AT ALL. It's big, it's loud, it's ridiculous, but it's fun.


That said, SR4 looks like it's the exact same engine as SR3, but with more/new stuff in it. That's not a bad thing, but if the engine and the game controls and such didn't float your boat before, chances are you'll still hate it. All the in-game footage basically looks like SR3, but with new content.

And just wanted to say that, aside from the recent bug that screwed some of my DLC, I'm really enjoying this game. It's ridiculous and awesome.
