The hosted session was about to end when I pitted. Although I can't imagine these tires would have been much fun on a full tank.

Unless someone finds it undrivable, I have no complaints about the Mercedes. I've been enjoying it around Sebring. I think we have an LMP2 team, also.

So it is the LMP2 or the Merc? Where is the team information and setups posted. I haven't seen anything here or in Discord. Which race time is everyone thinking?

I'd be perfectly happy driving the Mercedes. I've done a few sessions on baseline (endurance) and it drives fine and seems quick enough too. Just have to be careful not to slam it into the hairpin while on the brakes (51% BB) or it might spin around on entry.

My preference would be the 12:00 GMT timeslot on Saturday.

Sounds like we might have enough interest perhaps for two Mercedes teams even?

Yeah, for the 12-hour events I think we're aiming for the 12:00 GMT timeslot, unless there is anyone that wants to make it a 25-hour event and run the 22:00 GMT one also, lol.

I put a Mercedes setup in the Discord under >iRacing #setups if anyone wants to give it a go. I've put a couple stints on it, and it seemed fine, though there was a recommendation to up the springs maybe a click, if someone would find it useful. I couldn't tell the difference. With 5 Merc drivers, I'm guessing we have plenty for two Merc teams, depending on availability chart.

Guys, I have to take care of the kitties Saturday morning, so I'll miss this one. I'll be there for league race tomorrow :)

Too bad, Deb, the kitties better be grateful.

That setup drives fine, Marc, it seems more stable than baseline. I would like to change it to medium brake pad friction, though :)

I'll probably be around before league tomorrow, but not sure if I stay on long enough for the race.

I hate doing this especially at this late hour but I've no choice but to withdraw as well.

The past few weeks have seen us lose one of our most experienced operators within the Digital Department as well as the loss of a press due to some sort of head issue.

I've been tasked with helping train the new hire and I've not worked this department since the Olympics, 2009 -2010, so I'm super rusty.

Everything is taking way longer than it should and given how backed up we are it's only getting worse.

I've been living at work all week to try and avoid this issue but it's not possible.

Deepest apologies all.

I'll still be on today as I can't go to work owing to installation of newly purchased equipment and training of the new guy on that equipment, hence the reason I have to work Saturday/Sunday instead of Friday/Saturday.

Sorry about that @Kenadian, sounds stressful. But we'll have fun tonight. Do you think we should do a race session in the dark just for more fun :)

Ms. Bennett, feel free to hop in and turn some laps with us after tending to the meows
I don't think I can because I won't be a registered driver at the start. But that's okay, don't register me. Y'all should get in a good split based on the iRatings, so you should have a good race. :)
