Site freezing

Duke, when we were on ts last night I had some trouble with "quick reply" that it would freeze the site up. It's doing the same thing but now on my laptop.

Just a heads up

When the site hangs does it return anything at all or just simply stall and white page?

If I remember correctly you're using IE right? I'll have a look at my IE .css templates and see if I missed something in there.

Have you tried another browser to see if this is a browser issue?

It just hangs and freezes with the page and post intact.

It just did it again so I'm rewriting this post. I even copied it in case but somehow it didn't stick. Using IE 9, haven't tried another browser.

I'll look into it my friend because I have no idea what the problem could be? I too have IE9 and it's giving me no issues whatsoever, neither is Chrome or Firefox.

I'll start using IE9 for the forums over the next few days and see if I experience similar issues.

Sorry it's being such a pita d00d.

I wonder if it's on my end then... but both computers? Too much coincidence me thinks.

Thanks for looking

I'm going to be using IE9 all week to see if I can find the issue.

BTW, I am using the 64 bit version.

I was just gonna say that. I'm using the 32 bit version but I just fired up the 64 bit version of IE so I'll give this a go for a while.

OK I'm also now trying the 32 bit version so we'll see how that goes.

BTW, is it the "Quick Reply", "Reply to Thread", "Reply with Quote" and/or "New Thread" that are giving you issues?

Post quick reply is giving me issue. However, I think it had something to do with the 32 bit version because everything been working fast and flawless now :)

Hmmn, leave it to IE to suck at something lol. Every Webmaster online hates IE, I'm no different.

Thanks Smack, the more details the better.

One thing I read that I'm wondering about, is your copy of Windows 7 up to date? Apparently there is a possible issue with IE losing communication with Windows 7 if it's not completely up to date.

It's still freezing up so 64 bit didn't fix it neither has killing adobe. I do have java of course that was recently updated and no apple junk on any of my pc's (except my daughters laptop).

This is bizarre.
