Well, It's been years and I went looking for the WOLF website and clearly looks like a good majority of its "members" aren't there.. appears to be more of a business now.. Well, Whatever.

Here's the deal I'm back into PC gaming.. Been doing long haul trucking forever.. and I'm finally back home where I can get carpel tunnel all over again.

So.. anyone here from the renegade/Tribes2/Battlefield 1942 days that remembers me?

Games changed alot.. I'm playing a bunch of TF2.. Anyone play? Secondly any other games you'd suggest..

Really just need a place to call home..

I guess i've seen u only in 1942 as that was when i joined WOLF :)
However, remembered or not, you're always welcome to call this your new home ofcourse :)
The good guys are all coming back here so you'll see some known names/faces pop up :)

Hey quicksilver, thanks for the welcome. I hope some more people that I know have carried on into here.. I recognize engnr, JohnnyK, and I noticed Marty in the member list.. Hopefully theres more to come. I bet some of you have changed your names

I think only No Target has changed his name. Glad you found us. Yes we are trying to gather everyone back and invite new people and build us a nice little slice of the internet that we can call "home". People are filtering in and saying hey. Some stay, some wander, some we are searching high and low for. All in all, we have a good group of peeps here so far.

Hello and welcome to Fragtard Kamista, great to have you with us.

I can't say I recognize you but I took a rather long hiatus from Wolf, coupled with the fact my memory has more holes in it than Swiss Cheese means I'm lucky if I remember yesterday.

Anyway, there are a lot of people here playing DayZ currently, in fact, I think it's the most popular game around here.

I'm currently setting up a dedicated Server at Home for Team Fortress 2. Hopefully that's up and running in the next week or so; I'll be asking the Community Members to jump on during the setup stages just so we can tweak it to our liking.

It's alright. There was a mutiny type situation back in the day where alot of the members started to feel like the owners of wolf sold out yada. Don't remember the details.. I was banned along with a bunch of other guys.. This was back in the tribes days. I remember when we all got together playing CnC Renegade, and I believe they named it wolf because the forum we met on was called like west wood online or something.. Can't remember really..

But I remember how fun it was having the same people to enjoy games with online night after night. I really miss all that. So, Thanks for welcome.. I'm behind you guys.

TF2 server would be great!!

The ban sticks are all locked up around here and will only be pulled out in extreme cases. We are all different people with different opinions which we are all entitled to. I think we all just want to play some games with fellow tards now and then to escape.

Yea, I'm sure its holstered for the time being. Seeing that the place isnt not crawling with 1,000's of members. I just use the occasional harsh language. All in fun though.

Welcome! I joined WGN later into the game then yourself so you probably wont know me but its always nice to have bits and pieces of the good from WGN show up and carry on the legacy it should of been

As for games theres a few things going on, DayZ is popular, its a mod for ARMA2, ARMA2 itself has a fair few players who gather specifically for days of game playing.

The interest in Guild Wars 2 is growing rapidly and that will be a popular game once it gets going.

people seemingly have taken a break form Battlefield 3 - BUT its still a very popular game and Ive noticed people drifting back that way so that might be something that we could start to organise a few gaming nights for some decent squad play makes the battlefield games one of the best FPS games out there.

TF2 has some interest, Duke being the main one here, so I think he'll be very pleased to have you on board with that and make a new friend in the process.

Theres a handful of us that play a mixutre of games depending on our mood, Company Of Heroes and APB Reloaded are getting some attention recently. Both available on steam, CoH is fairly cheap, APB is free to play.

Overall....theres a fair few choices to get dug into, everyone is very welcoming, dont hesitate to jump on teamspeak and joina channel and make yourself known. People tend to be on midday EST and late evenings EST (not sure of your timezone).

Oh and dont worry about swearing, seriously everyone has a potty mouth, but we're all adults..we joke, insult, swear, but its all in jest.

Oh and if you happen to come across Fireblade....whatever he says to you, give it right back, then you'll have a friend for life. (hes a strange one!)
