@Nejtun I've tried to accept this set up with only changing the arb rear settings but I just can't get on with it. I feel like I need just a sliver more in the direction of the changes I made previously to the diff. I was thinking just ONE click (65-->70) on the drive ramp angle would be a happy medium. I know its getting late in the game but its a smallish change that I think everyone could get the feel they want out of the car with arb setting adjustments. If we could try this small change and if you guys feel like it doesn't work for you then we'll stick with the original. I've come to this conclusion after running in the proper D24 weather.

Thank you for the consideration!

Ultimately it's about protecting the car so if we have to sacrifice a little pace to have a planted setup then that's the priority.

I've not run a setup change since the last time we practiced together and although I felt that last set was a bit slow it was at least stable. How far are we deviating from this set and how close are we to @Nejtun original set?

@Noodleguitar Pit time in the Ferrari GTE is 33.1 seconds (the 0.1 is important, obviously!). Tyres alone only take about 27 seconds.

Posting a .txt version of the .csv file. It includes both the Ford and the Ferrari.
Did they change the pitting on the GTE cars? I looked at the Le Mans schedule, which said 47.3 seconds for a full pit stop.

@Duke I'm not sure which set you ran last. If it was super recently then its probably Nejtuns V3 setup. If thats the case then all I'm proposing is to take out a bit more oversteer on acceleration on corner exit. Probably be easier to sort all this when we're all on TS together.

@Jes_971 , please just let me have a copy of the set you are happy with and I will drive with that. better than a mix up with changes that i might make a mistake on applying, name it Jes 24 2018 and throw it on here and/or in the TS filebroswser in the Daytona folder , cheers !! :D

The last setup I ran was the dead body setup.

It felt a bit slower but super stable.

@Duke can you upload the set here or on the TS servers and name it "dead body". I want to cross reference some stuff but I forgot to save it when I switched to the V3 setup.

I'll still be uploading Nejtuns v3 with a slight change to it. I think what made the "dead body" setup seem slower was that it actually was slower because of the high preload I was running on the diff. Nejtuns set is running much less preload which should make it faster. I'm pretty sure I can dial in stability into his setup without the drag of the dead body set.

I'll be uploading what hopefully will be the final set here in an hour or so. Thank you @Nejtun and @Duke for dealing with my pickiness.

Alright, I got the first draft of both the Ferrari GTE and Mercedes GT3 SCHEDULE filled in, so look them over, see what you think, and let me know if anything needs to be changed!

For the GTE @Bedo @Deb @Brainling @reid team, I picked "No Fuel Saving" for simplicity. As you can see at the end, Bedo would need to do a 33 lap stint and a 4 lap stint, but we'll probably just break that down into two 14ish lap stints. It is easier to always fill the tank and sort these things out at the end of the race.

For the GT3 @dkracer @Noodleguitar @SavreticD @ShadniX I used "Distributed Fuel", which shortens the stint lengths a little bit. If you'd rather run full fuel tanks, let me know. It won't change the number of stops, it will just tweak the Pit-in times a bit.

Thanks Noël Lüneburg for the fuel charts!

Anyone practicing tonight? Slept all day, and then have been staring at Excel (GoogleDocs... whatever..) for the past few hours. I am down to turn some laps!

Alright, wrapped up the first draft of the Daytona Prototype @Duke @Fromthenavy @Jes_971 @Nejtun @Sam Roselaar @Slider team and added it to the SCHEDULE! Look it over and let me know what looks good and what doesn't!

I gave everyone 6 stints, except for Davey, as he is under the weather. I can switch a couple things around pretty easy if Sam isn't going to make it either and/or if Davey is feeling better **Fingers Crossed**!

Looks good on my end, Marc!!!! Thanks for your hard work in putting this together. I will gladly pick up an extra single stint or two if needed in case anyone cannot make it.

Other than that this looks great and I hope everyone can make it so we all can have a grand ol' time!!!!!!:D:D:D:D:cool:
