I tweaked my settings on the schedule. I actually went back to TC1: 2 last night and instead of power on oversteer started to use a tap of the brakes coming around the right hander to get the car to turn in and power out of the bus stop. Seemed a bit more consistent and was equivalent time wise as trying to get the car to rotate on power. I filled in my BB setting as well.

I think the Ford Team was dissolved due to Driver shortages among all Teams.

I left to help the Ferrari team, Davey has been under the weather which put the Ford team in jeopardy. Ryan took an offer to join another team, and that left just you and Davey. The DP team was down to 4 drivers, but Sam has a questionable knee, so I added you and Davey to the DP team.

Glad to hear! It was just kind of a place-holder anyways. Having that info does help, though, as we talked about last night!

Something you may want to look into before this weekend!! A lot of iRacers have been reporting Bad_Module errors. This appears to be a Windows issue. This is not unique to iRacing alone (if you play PUBG, you've probably gotten this error as well). One "fix" (no guarantees) is to riight-click your iRacingSim64DX11.exe (E:\Program Files (x86)\iRacing) and check the box labled "Disable Fullscreen Optimizations".

I'll be doing this with iRacing and PUBG and see how it works out...

Wonder if this has never affected me because when running VR you aren't really "full screen". Obviously in the headset you are, but iRacing itself projects to a 1080p window, non-fullscreen.

Thanks Marc! I'll give that a try tonight. The stuttering last night was so bad some corners were not driveable I am on Windows 7 on that computer, hopefully it works for it.

@Brainling I'm not sure. It very well could be that VR is not subjected to this, however, this has nothing to do with "Full Screen" (yeah yeah, but it says "Fullscreen Optimizations"...) most streamers, myself included, are running Borderless Window, and yet we've still had this issue. Same with PUBG, which I play exclusively in Window, but still have Bad_Module crashes.

Also, there is another issue in iRacing where objects (probably cones?) may fall through the map, and then violently accelerate at a rate that either the game, or the server, can't handle and it results in people getting kicked out of the session? I've only seen it discussed in Twitch chat, haven't done any digging into it on the forums, but that sounds simultaneously hilarious and terrifying..

Now all I can think of is @Noodleguitar, for some reason... I'm not sure how he could possibly relate to this issue...

i should have probably said it in the main thread aswell, my bad.
i'm currently having trouble with my knee as i just started working and it's quite heavy on my knee. the chances of me being able to drive are very slim and i didn't get anymore proper practice either. i assume my conversation message didn't come over so i'm sorry you heard it this late. i hope this doesn't get in the way of the C7 teams race.

i should probably be taken out of the driver's schedule for this race @Skid_Marc_ however i'm am still able and willing to be in the C7 teamspeak channel to help out with spotting etc, if you guys want that. it's up to you @Duke @Nejtun @Jes_971

i was trying to prolong the inevitable myself because i was really hyped for this event (and racing with you guys in general) but now it's clear that my knee isn't ready for it yet.

Thats a real bummer @Sam Roselaar but we should have enough drivers to fill in the gaps of the schedule. Hope your knee feels better man. I know the knee pain all too well. I've had blown out ACL's in both knees and have only gotten one fixed. Luckily the other hasn't bothered me too much(yet).

Hell I don't even have bad knees and after a couple of stints with my legs in that position, constantly flexing at the knee to press pedals, they are sore.

Saw the schedule now. Wooo, I can sleep in So don't expect me to be there before few hours into the race. I'll definitely be warming up and in TS/Discord/Whatever an hour before my slot. Would have preferred 3-4 stints at a time, but if this is what's best for most, works fine for me.
