Yeah, not sure what was going on, but at least now the car should be able to withstand hot weather conditions. Maybe that is why the driving was so crazy, everyone was experiencing setup challenges. I'd rather sacrifice a little speed in the cool weather than a lot of speed trying to stay on the track in the crazy hot weather.
Me, in the middle of doing a fresh install: There is no way I'm that stupid.....

Might be worth double checking the "Account" - > "My Account" to verify your connection type is set right if you're having any sort of connection issues...

This might be a stupid question @Skid_Marc_ , but how do i find out which setting i should use?
Mouse over "Account" on the top bar, and select "My Account"
You'll have to log-in again
Scroll down past your Sub Info, iRacing Credits, Billing and Shipping Info, etc, until you get to "Preferences".

I know how to get there, but which of the 5 options (ranging from 128k to 1Mbit) should i use?

Sorry, I obviously glossumed your question.
If your internet is faster than 1Mb, which I hope to all that is holy it is, you should probably be using that option. I'm guessing that this is an outdated setting from when they introduced this service in 2009. Back when 3Mb internet was the fastest generally available in the U.S. consumers, with most people in my rural area being on 128kb or 256kb.

Again, sorry all. As it turns out, backing out was the right call because I still cannot move all that well. Getting in and out of my car should be set to Benny Hill music, it's so bad.
