After the race I learned that double stinting tires is still a valid option. Apparently, the tires are slow when new, so you can gain time by running old tires in the second stint.

Great race all, terrific effort.

While it certainly would have been great to walk away with the win, finishing on the lead lap in a Podium position is very much a remarkable achievement.

Ahh, the Channel actually has several streams running simultaniously. I didn't know that was a thing!

I won't post each one, because they may change throughout the weekend, but currently, they have; Live "DE" Coverage, Live "GB" Coverage, Pit-Lane, Several GT3 on-boards including #911 Mantey Racing on-boad, at least one GT4 on-board with Giesemann's Toyota Supra, and the #830 Hyundai Motorsports N Hyundai Elantra TCR.

I was watching last night , and this is the thing that bugs me about sims (looking at you Dr2.0)! The view they give of how dark the track appears is as if our eyes are TV cameras and cannot compensate for the super bright headlights! (my eyes aren't that shit anyway, I cannot speak for how anybody else sees things )

Have to recommend the YouTube link that Marc posted if you get a chance this weekend, it is very exciting, and some of the camera views are insane! The nose cams in particular make things look even faster being so low to the ground.

Someone did an 8:16 in qually yesterday and they were ragging the crap out of the car, only 10 seconds slower than noel! Maybe one day they can catch his alien ass.

I think if @Noodleguitar would forward the teams his griphax.exe, they'd drop into to high 7's.

I was watching Rowe Racing's hotlap and they certainly had way more traffic than we had to deal with.
