If so that sucks for the people who worked hard to get that rank... there will be Clippers everywhere now whereas they were a pretty rare sight at the beginning.

Correct! Normal price, but no ranking up needed. I tend to agree, but the ascension missions have been so screwed up lately I don't even care.

I'm happy I was able to buy both of them and decently outfit the Clipper without having to sell the Python (although it's a little stripped down).
