Steam Summer Sale Again!

It's that time of the year again, great discounts to be had :)

Anything you're getting now it's on sale, or, anything you think we should get while it's on sale? Let us know!

I must say, very good discounts, upto 80+%. Now if only I didn't have all those games already :p

Anyway, if you see some must-haves at generous discount, feel free to notify us here :)

I'm waiting a day or so to see what comes of this "Monster Game" thing. So far, it's buggy, laggy, and really, really stupid. I don't expect it to actually work or matter in the long run. I'm also waiting to see if certain games get discounted deeper.

I have my eye on a few different titles and DLC (e.g. Payday2 DLC), but I'm not buying at the current discounted rate. I'm waiting for it to hit -75% and then maybe I'll buy. Other games I'm waiting for a -50% or whathaveyou.

To be honest, though, I already have a lot of what I want, and I have quite a backlog of games to work through, so I'm not in a huge rush. And a bunch of games will have such insignificant discounts that it's pointless to buy. E.G. various Call of Duty games which I'll buy at, like, 75% off, but they never go below, like, 30-40% off, and are still WAY overpriced (e.g. it's still $20 for Call of Duty World at War, which came out, what, six fucking years ago?).

I have to agree, some publishers, like EA and Ubisoft, have games that barely go down over the years....

Still some good discounts currently, like -50% on wreckfest, -75-80% on the Metro games (including the redux versions), Dirt rally is -25%, the Telltale games at -50%...

On the other hand, Construction machines at -95% still isn't worth it, as you should be paid for such a horrible gaming experience XD

So far, I picked up the two most recent Wolfenstein games for $25 total, and a DLC for Payday 2. I don't anticipate buying much more.

--EDIT--

And got the Way of Life DLC for Crusader Kings 2 for, like, $3 or so. Not bad.

The deals on everything else...eh...just haven't been attractive enough for me. Given the low end of what they're asking for these games, I'd rather get a bunch of them on Xbox used, at Gamestop for a fraction of the price.

There are some indie games I'm mildly interested in, but I can't really justify paying even $10 for them right now when I have such a backlog of other games to play.

I only bought Mafia II and J.U.L.I.A. among the stars so far.

Good deal going on now btw, steam lists MSflight simulator X at -130% !
Free game, and you get money on top of it too!

So far I've bought Octodad@ Dadliest Catch... a good laugh when playing in a group around the TV. Co-op is hilarious, each player (up to 4) controls a different limb... yes it is as chaotic as you imagine but much hilarity usually ensues

Picked up the TellTale Game of Thrones and some more DLC for Payday2 (which I really recommend for you guys if you don't already have it).

Refunded Maffia II again as I didn't like how the cars drove on PC (and 90% of thatgame is driving), got the Talos principle (which is much better then I expected it to be), Call of Juarez; Gunslinger (Saw wappy got it, and reviews looked good actually), and Fall Out 3 for old times sake, and because I think it's the best Fall out up till now.

Ended up picking up Gat out of Hell for Saints Row IV, Watch Dogs and its Season Pass when they finally went below 50%. All in all, not a bad deal. I'll get to it....eventually.

Right now, I'm in the midst of Arkham Origins, after which I'll do the SP DLC for Origins, then maybe go back and do the SP DLC for Arkham City. After that, I think I'm gonna give Batman a break for a bit and maybe fire up the South Park Stick of Truth game for a change of pace. All of this while I wait for Rocksteady to properly patch Arkham Knight, since it's apparently having HORRENDOUS PC optimization issues (even though I plan to only run it on settings that mimic Arkham City/Origins).

I hope that's enough games for lasting the time it will take to fix Arkham Night...

I haven't bought anything else anymore, guess I'm pretty saturated on steam games right now, pretty happy with what I got this sale anyway. And as it is, we all have those games sitting in our libraries still waiting to get played one of these days...

Ever wondered how much playtime is left in your steam-library? Check out this topic!

I got out of this sale pretty lightly really, I have so many games to play now they could probably last me a lifetime...
