Surprise Flightnight 31.03.2012 - Roll Call

I have just gotten an opportunity to arrange a flightnight tonight.
This is just as surprising for me as for you and this is a very short notice to arrange anything, but this is also an excellent opportunity to fly with our old friend Duke so I'm trying anyway

We'll continue our Kuban campaign in IL-2 1946 (vanilla patched to 4.11) where we fly for the German side against the Russians in 1942.

I'll be on Teamspeak from 1900 CET. See you there!

BTW, I tried my first landing in about 2 years last weekend and almost completely missed the runway, ran over it because there was not enough braking room, and then flipped ass over nose ending upside down about a football fields length beyond the runway.

I don't think I've improved much.

Nah, won't be able to. I think i'll need to buy a completely new PC As much problems I have with this setup with constant crashes and graphical problems and what not I think there is something broken. Right now I don't have energy or mood to reinstall everything again and make everything work so don't expect me joining anything in a long time all the best and have fun.

Yup! We had great fun flying around in really bad weather
We were literally blown away over how much the wind effects have improved in patch 4.11 LOL
It was really nice having Duke with us again too - finally the AI had a nice and easy target they preferred to go after instead of Wapwap and me
