Want to move some files when using steam? Steam Mover could be an option for those of us that have a small SSD as maindrive but want to benefit from the speed. For instance, the complete CoD catalogue is 5 GB and could be moved here aswell as the 1CSoftClub folder to gain speed.

I use a 8GB RAM disk. All my browser caches sit on it and any game caches where you can customise where the cache file sits.

Its also healthy if you have an SSD because it means that its not being written to constantly.

You can also use what are called Symbolic links (which is what this does) to do this to anything on your SSD. I have my profiles on a HDD using this as well as all my games that don't require a fast load time.

Yup, I'm using it to put symbolic links from my HDD to the SSD to gain speed. However I think i'l try a double symbolic link by linking the cache in 1CSoftClub to the ramdrive. I'm not sure it will work but that woud gain two things, First lessen the writes to the SSD and second always clear out the cache.
