The Witcher 3

John Le Carre reference: Quest called "Tinker, Hunter, Soldier, Spy. :)
Note: Ciri as Empress main quest ending could be rated the "best"; but it's got a bittersweet taste to it...

Says the guy that hasn't finished SOMA or even played it for 2 weeks... :p
Has it been 2 weeks already?

Last week couldn't be helped because I had the 24hr. This week I have a BBQ to go to that I actually delayed just so I could stream :p

Do it Duke.
Have you played Hearts of Stone DLC?
If not: I advise adding it.
I also have a tip (if needed): Playing a new game with the Witcher 2 save option modifies a quest in Velen which allows you run into Letho...it makes for a nice touch.
* Letho is a character from W2. No spoiler from me.

Ya I bought the 00ber supporter version or whatever it's called so I have everything. Haven't played Hearts of Stone yet though so that may not be a bad idea.

HoS is pretty good (So far. I am about half way through the main quest).
I am really looking forward to my new PC next month: I will buy BaW the same day I take delivery.
THAT playthrough will be an exploration of how I can access HoS before i finish the main questline.
Because I want to be so OP that Eredin won't see the truck that runs him over ;)

Just some tips regarding earning gold and carry weight restrictions:
1) Do the Horse races. The rewards are gold, saddles (they raise horse stamina; which makes winning the races easier, as Roach can gallop longer), and Saddlebags (increased carry weight).
There are races in Velen, Novigrad "Zone" (The track is closer to Oxenfort. The "Erasumus-Vegelbud Derby"- Available from Hierarch Square noticeboard in Novigrad; and possibly the Oxenfort 'board, but iIam unsure on that one), Skellige, and there's one race in Hearts of Stone.
As with the Fist-fight questline, the Races are somewhat of a progression based on level/zone/Roach's ability to gallop.
Note that saddlebags are what you really want from these.
2) Smuggler's Caches in the open water are a goldmine. Make sure your Crossbow is ready, and you're using the best Bolts (Underwater shooting is the way to go when farming these imo).
3) The "Abandoned Sites" are good for loot AND XP, As long as they are at/near your level.
4) Once you reach Skellige, don't be afraid to use boats to travel. -Skellige has more Smugglers Caches than I've had hot dinners. AND the named weapon/armour drops from the chests typically yield some of the best named items you'll find (I had 25000 gold by level 32, and had only just made my first 3 mastercrafted "Bear School" gear set pieces).
There are a lot of nice named weapons and armour that are just drops out there in the Wilds.
PS. Witcher mastercrafted Speedo optional.
PSS. There is a fun and helpful item drop in Skellige called the "*Hornwall Horn"*: If Harpies/Erinyes/Flying bitches give you trouble; this horn (when blown) will cause them to drop out of the sky. - Then one can make blood-ribbons out the of those damned flying screamers.
-The Horn is also a novelty item; as it can be blown...anywhere other than cutscenes. ;)
*I hate spoils; but a tip is that it can be picked up during the quest with Hjalmar, or if one goes to complete the Master Armoursmith quest (same "locale").

A note on the Ofieri Runewright in HoS DLC: If you make a new set of armour OR a weapon that you want him to enchant, don't place any Glyphs or Runestones in slots until after he has done enchanting.
The act of enchanting destroys any non-related Glyphs or 'Stones...

HoS completed. Really well done DLC (if a little short). Loved the quest 'Scenes from a Marriage".
Save your money for the Runewright: His skill does not come cheap.

Just got around to picking this up again and spent 9 hours playing according to steam. Aside from minor graphical bugs this game is great!

I will say in regards to dude posted above, wtf is with his arms? Biceps don't work like that...

They don't appear to slow Letho down.
He is meant to be imposing...and is lol.
And considering some of the ridiculous as over-development that goes on in RL...a fantasy character built like that is not THAT weird looking.

New PC received a few days ago.
Purchase of Blood and Wine to be made.
Just finished complete reinstall of Skyrim plus all the fantastic mods (plus a few more!).
Playinjg Defiance with my brother for old times sake atm. But Geralt is on my priority list!

Witcher 3 was great finally finished it put almost 150 hours into it. I know they are working on Cyber Punk 2077, but why kill this franchise it could be a cash cow for them.
