Super Mod
This is an open invitation to ask away if you have any questions as a new CMDR (commander) or are looking at picking this title up and have wanted to find something out before doing so.
Elite: Dangerous is a vast game, although it can be as vast or localised as you want it to be.
Want to stay within our solar system? You can do that. If you have reached the boundaries of interstellar space and feel like leaving home on the other hand... you can travel to our Galactic core, find out if there really is a black hole and if you survive that travel to the outer edges of our Galaxy on the fringe of intergalactic space. And everything inbetween.
This game is really what you make it. There is no "end game" exactly, only targets and goals you set yourself. It contains 400 Billion star systems, and everything you see in the night sky when you look up can be travelled to and explored. FD (Frontier Developments) regularly keep an eye on the recent discoveries happening all the time and update accordingly.
Most recently two "Exoplanets" discovered recently that are the most likely discoveries ever made to possibly contain life have been added and you can go there to explore.
There is so much more to come too, with many updates planned (not least of which is planetary landings and exploration).
So if you have any questions, ask away and we hope to see you in space CMDR :icon_cool:
