Vehicles to skin in order of Community demand - Feedback requested

Hello all,

After an extended hiatus, I, @Kenadian, am finally skinning again for iRacing.

I sincerely apologize for my lapse, life, you know.

Where possible, I'd love to attack this very large project in order of importance, in other words, skin what is popular within the Band of Others Community, cars you all drive frequently.

As of this post, @Skid_Marc_ is the only to respond in writing and @Noodleguitar, via discussion in Discord.

If possible, I'd love responses here as they're much easier to correlate and return back and forth to.

Please do not be alarmed by my stupid demeanor like poor Marc (sorry Marc) as in, "oh, what the fuck, I can't do that in a jillion years" _panic, _panic, _panic.

I'm sorry, I am who I am and I'm finally somewhat at peace with it. I wanna change, I wanna be a real boy but I'm stuck where I am.

At this time, the Porsche 911 Cup (992.2) is live with both BMW M4 GT3 EVO and Ferrari 296 GT3 near completion in both GT World Challenge and IMSA variants.

I'll likely button up the McLaren 720s GT3 EVO and Ford Mustang GT3 as the Mustang is in use, the McLaren will be and I'd love to button up this series of cars.

After this, I'm free to do what you drive so please get your orders in quickly or I'll queue up another round of pointless bitching about nothing of importance lol.

You had just asked for suggestions, so is basically just my wishlist. I thought other people would probably chime in with their own, if they had any. I have zero expectations for all of them. That is wholely up to your discretion.

The PCup and Mustang Supercar are almost guaranteed to get SOME use, due to special events. The Dallara has gotten quite a lot of use over the years, but I'm not sure if everyone has kind of moved on to the BMW GTP car, of if there are people that would still prefer to stick to the LMP2 class. I thought the Toyota GR86 would be good, because it's always nice to have a free car that is current.

Just having a GT4 car as an option would be nice because of the sheer number of special events it is elidgable for (NEC, Creventic, Nurb24, Brexit24). I know GT4's get a bad rap for being quite dull, but the Mercedes-AMG still feels pretty good and lively, and having a paint might encourage it's use. Certainly not a priority, though.

Kinger and I have driven the GTE's a lot, recently. We normally drive the C8, or I might choose the Ford, and we both have our own paints for it, but if you ever wanted to join us, the M8 would be the GTE to have, and I think it still only has the OG B2O skin.

Jeff has started racing more, the last week or so,, and he's always done more with open-wheel stuff (F4, Super Formula Light, and Super Formula). The Super Formula SF23 was always a goal to reach for Kinger and I, so I thought it could be something for the three of us. I don't think we've ever had a B2O open-wheel paint.

The Corvette C6.R GT1 is an entirely selfish pick. I think it's the greatest car in the sim. Period. But, it's the only ProtoGT car that has never received a decent B2O paint. I've tried making B2O, or SUN, paints for it but they all look like ass.

Whatever you get to, and however you prioritize things, it's entirely up to you. I'm grateful for any paint you're willing to put time into!

@Kenadian As I mentioned to you at the weekend, I have not had my iRacing account active since the spring, it has been way too hot this summer to use VR but it seems to be cooling down a bit and I may re-up my iRacing (as long as my headset still works!) as Autumn approaches.

The P-cup you have already painted will suit me just fine and the cars mentioned already by Marc are probably things I would drive otherwise.

Other than that, I will likely be giving the Radical SR-10 a go if the series even still runs! and the Hyundai Elantra TCR, so if you ever get that long list finished then please consider those, but I am in no hurry for them so just keep them in mind

My preferences are basically the same as the order Marc has already posted. What I am mostly driving currently:

1. Audi 90 GTO (I created a dark gray/yellow highlights paint for it a while ago)
2. Porsche Cup
3. Ford Mustang GT3
4. LMP2
5. V8 Mustang (for the Bathurst 1000)
