It's having you guys here and it's really a no-brainer. We have a new forum with lots of room and since we've all gamed together at one point or another, why would we ever want you to go anywhere else?
BTW, did you want some information on the 332 on the blog page? We could also add you to the top navigation bar and also add you to the Contact Us Form for those applying for membership.
I'm not sure how visible you want to be especially given how these forums are hidden but just know that the offer stands.
BTW x 2; if we do create a 332 page on the blog, we can also skin it anyway we want as I'm using Wordpress Thesis which allows me direct control over every little theming detail on the blog including pages and even individual blog posts.

When that's done we'll plan for how to administer ourselves and give access to new users and handle applications.
I'm not much of a blogger myself, but maybe the blog can be a place where all members can blog if they feel like it? The idea of having a blog is still so new to me that I haven't quite figured out how to best use it yet.

The blog offer is a bit more complicated so my apologies on that one. There would be very limited access to the main site blog as it's role is to draw in targeted internet traffic unlike the forums which are just a content free for all. I Edit all Blog Content in the interests of grammar, structure, and SEO (keyword density, spider friendliness, on/off page optimization, etc.) prior to publish.
If you think of how a newspaper is run, that's how our blog will run.
The option does exist for individual blogs at the forum level such as fragtard.net/forum/leimboy-blog but that system would need to be flushed out as well. Since the software for that option is something I have to support financially, I need some level of reassurance that it will be used such as a minimum forum post count, a minimum forum rank, or even a small financial contribution, not sure?
Of course if this is something the members want down the road then I will not hesitate to add it. I just want to minimize the chance of being out of pocket for software that never gets used which has happened to me a few times in the past unfortunately.
That being said, if there are a few people here that are interested in writing articles for the main blog I'm more than happy to give them access. As part of our Staff Team we will have bloggers with special forum access, e-mail addresses@fragtard.net and maybe some other g00dies I'm sure I can dig up.
Anyone interested in posting on the main blog can PM me directly and we can discuss it. I just ask for a little patience with me right now because my "To Do List" is massive and I'm not sure how everything will end up at this time?

I understand what you want to do with the blog part. I'm also not blogger material so for me, personally, the blog is not something I will use at the time and not something I will miss as a place to express myself.

lol, no worried because I don't understand half of what I ramble about sometimes.
Once we get settled and I figure out how to properly configure everything, the blog will kick off and probably see new content pretty regularly. We're not going to be an IGN or anything that extreme, just cover some interesting aspects of the games the Community at large is interested in.
