What C-Class Series will you race in?

Once promoted to a C-Class License, what series or multiple series will you be competing in?

- GT3 Series [McLaren/BMW]
- Mustang Challenge
- Road Warrior! (depends on the car/track combination but there are a lot of awesome races still on the schedule).

I've also seen the announcement for the week 13 series is up and it looks like I might have to purchase the BMW and CotA sooner than I thought :D:

But that’s just for openers. The week sees not one, two, three or four but five (!) 24 Hours of Fun Series. The first pits the Chevy, Ford and Toyota Gen6 cars against one another at Auto Club Speedway and Charlotte Motor Speedway. The 24 Hours of Fun 2features two great new pieces of content – Circuit of the Americas (West) and the BMW Z4 GT3 – along with the McLaren MP4 12C and RUF (Track), while the 24 Hours of Fun 3 sees the Williams-Toyota FW31 in its natural element: the COTA Grand Prix circuit. There’s more great new content highlighted in 24 Hours of Fun 4 with the Super Late Model at our new Lucas Oil Racewayat Indianapolis and, finally, the 24 Hours of Fun 5 is sure to put the fun in Week 13 with the Legends car on the Figure 8 layout at Irwindale Speedway.
Edit: Oops, the GT3 series is a B-class series, I had forgotten that.

I have no clue. My subscription is running out in a few weeks too, so I don't think I'll be investing in cars and tracks anymore tbh.

The new build is out, some cool new stuff in there:

McLaren MP4-12C GT3
- Wheels can be custom colored.
- Added adjustable traction control. Traction control can also be disabled for 5 seconds via the new traction control toggle control.
- Updated engine sounds with new distant external sounds.
- Has a new layer of backfire and crackle sound for traction control / rev limiter / pit limiter / up shift ignition cut.
- Now has 4-way adjustable shocks, low and high speed bump and rebound.
- Re-measured the anti-roll bars; they are softer now.
- Generally improved the car's handling over bumps and curbs.
Sorry for going off-topic. Didn't want to make a new one just for this.

OMFG, I can't wait to jump in the McLaren now. I'm going to try and get into B-Class in the first few weeks so I can race in GT3.

Yeah the McLaren has been made quite a bit more awesome. The other cars in the GT3 series have many of the same updates as the McLaren though, so I'm guessing the GT3 series will be overcrowded :p. Never a bad thing.

I don't mind the GT3 Series being crowded because it means it may take longer for me to get to top splits.

Just drove the BMW around CotA - West for a while and I think I like it so far.

A lot of weight is in the front, so it is very stable during turn in and at the apex. When you floor it, the tail might kick out but the traction control can take care of that.

But I think the force feedback has to be fixed, it feels very light. I tried turning up the strength, but then it rains duplo each time you hit a small bump.

Ya you really have to watch the FFB settings because they distort easily in this game so much so that too much FFB actually feels like you're off-roading on the rims.

I think I'll pass on the car anyway, I want to drive the McLaren.

I do wonder how many people it will entice away from the Ruf though?

I might just stick with the Mazda upcoming season with the limited time i'm playing this. When I started with iRacing it was like the 3rd or 4th week of the season, so I want to do a full season now.
The GT3 challenge does seem like a lot of fun though.

You won't be renewing your subscription Shilka?

Nah, I won't be renewing for the time being. Took 3 months because it was wintertime, now the busier times are coming for me; more outside time with kiddo, gardenstuff and perhaps a few side jobs, all doors and doorframes need painting in the house, parents are getting older and need more help, and I want to see how succesful I can get/keep the ETS streaming stuff, and perhaps stream a few other games.

Next to that, geting into the higher race classes is just too costly imho, dispite how much I like the race according to racing rules stuff. Next to that it has become clear to me for me to be somewhat competative I really need to practice my butt off all week, which is becoming less fun for me lately. I do enjoy the group practices heaps though!

Might take another 3 months next winter too!
