You're more of a simulation/hardcore guy, right? If yes, do not touch CQ with a ten-foot pole.
Personally, I am pretty disappointed. It totally caters to the twitch-aimers and is often a circle of merry go-rounds to cap flags. Gun Master could be fun if they had thought of randomizing the guns a bit and going best-to-worst (at least as an option) instead of giving people who join a bit late or have an unlucky spawn the finger.

Stay away from it Wotan, it's the same thing as burning money.
It's ok if you play BF3 online regularly and want a change of pace now and then but really, it's only a novelty and you can achieve the exact same thing from Counter Strike, HL2 Death Match, COD, or plethora of other run 'n gunners.
I'll play it now and then but for the most part, I've barely played it at all and haven't even tried a few of the maps as it's just too much arcade for me. If I wanted this kind of gameplay I'd load up Team Fortress 2 because at least it's funny and entertaining.
This is nothing more than a $15 Frostbite 2 demonstration mixed with absolutely no insight into what the majority of gamers want from the Battlefield franchise.
Close Quarters is mini Metro with additional hallways, faster flag captures, destructibility all built on a foundation of no common sense.
