Not sure why I'm fascinated by this pass. I saw the guy in front of me making a pass so I decided to follow him, although maybe I wasn't quite close enough for it because the guy could've easily sideswiped me on the apex if he wasn't paying attention.

I spun soon after and lost the position.

Fixed! I realized when I woke up I set it to private and not unlisted haha.

It's not as exciting from far chase cam but from cockpit I could only imagine him going for the apex, just to hear "Car on your right" as he's about to turn in on me.

I did something similar once. But I was in the DP in an IMSA race and dude was less than happy with me.

The door was open and it's not like you weren't on the racing line. The line through the bus stop is a bit odd but he was off line as I see it. It's aggressive and if you do it to the wrong person you'll both end up in trouble. It most definitely is a risk/reward move. Certainly not the dirtiest move you can make but that's just my take.

It was still a divebomb though. The guy ahead was already turning in when Quadro was not along side yet. Of course, if he would have kept turning in both of you would have crashed so he didn't really have a choice but to let you have it.

agreed Noel. Technically it was not your corner since you weren't alongside. I'd be upset but as I said, I've seen much worse.

Ya you could see him clearly turn out of it. I have to say I'm impressed with how the guy actually handled it because it could have ended messy had he not turned out of it.

Correct quick. I've saved myself many a times by watching my rear mirror in heavy braking zones. Why I remember a certain Daytona Road race where Dino, of all people, almost killed me and if I was not watched and swerved to the outside, I would have died.

It was also the same race that he was accused of multiple times of driving with a mouse. haha

I always have to tell myself it's better to just give up the corner when someone is clearly going to divebomb it. I always want to just take the 4x for there to be some kind of justice, for that type of thing to not be rewarded, but in the long run it's better to just let it happen (they'll probably spin themselves anyway).

I've the same experience though, if someone is clearly making little effort to share the road it's you that usually suffers by not yielding. The more you fight the higher the chance you have of being taken out which isn't smart.

Better just to let them go and kill themselves up the road as they almost always do.

That Daytona race was done with almost no practice. It happened coming into a bus stop I think. Meh...same people acusing me of racing with a mouse are same idiots that can't drive themselves
