Good job on the video Duke, it was fun to watch back that race. Too bad it turned out the way it did for you

Just one notation; while the first part of the race was easy to follow (cockpit view), from the moment you were disqualified the camera was only in tv mode. Perhaps (if not too much work) you can vary the camera's a little bit to make it more attractive to watch. Other than that, nice video. Seemed like you had some trouble with the Kia's as well
Sorry Wappy, I forgot to comment on this until now.
This was by far the most difficult video to make and it took forever to put together, edit and render.
I had to make a bunch of sacrifices not only to speed up the process a bit but also because of how iRacing handles replays. Unfortunately, there is no way to grab cockpit view replays that show speed, gear or even update the steering wheel regularly. Relative data is also not available to grabbing cockpit footage from any other POV is completely useless.
The only way I see around this is to have you guys capture your races via cockpit view but those can be pretty large files that we'll have to transfer back and forth which opens up a whole new set of challenges.
This would have been a non issue had I finished the race however being disqualified left me with more than half a race with little to no filler footage to make it interesting. I was hoping the commentary would make up for that shortcoming but we were all rather subdued this time around so it wasn't as entertaining as I'd hoped it would be.
I don't see this being an issue down the road as I don't intend on getting disqualified that often (hopefully never again) but if it does happen, I'll just do a color commentary wrap up on what transpired with the Team from that point forward.
Oh and my problem with the KIA's was all me, they had little or nothing to do with it. I made bad decisions which luckily only ended my race.
Did you guys notice though that the guy who ultimately hit me and got me disqualified was the same guy who took me out in Turn 1?
