Noël Lüneburg, like thatNoel Luneburg (Don't forget umlauts)
Could you change the name to "B2O Endurance - RUF"? Otherwise it'll most likely be cut-off in the standings or in broadcasts etc.I've invited everyone in the C-Spec to Band Of Others Endurance - RUF
Team ID: 57098
That sucks, Chris, bad luck. I hope you still have warranty on it and that they'll be able to fix it.Well guys, I may just be putting the final nail in the coffin for our Audi team here by breaking this news, but earlier today I signed up for a BSS race (same one as you Kyle if you remember) and was in second place when my wheel disconnected and reconnected and went full leftward lock and didn't steer back. I subsequently died a horrible death at the Kleines Karussel.
Now it seems that my wheel had some major motor malfunction and the motor has no rightward drive at all, and I can't seem to have it turn right without manually overriding the force. When it connects to autocalibrate it clunks and vibrates with no movement.
Sorry guys. That second C-spec team might just be a good idea.
The T300RS was great while it lasted I guess
Really sorry to hear about it. I thought mine was bad - some absolute moron, right after turning onto the Nordschleife on L1, spun out. Rather than waiting for a few cars to pass he full reversed right into my path (I had already slowed significantly) and there was nothing I could do. I protested him... I think my first protest ever. I usually let racing incidents slide and am very lenient, especially when the driver shows remorse. But this crap annoys the hell out of me.Well guys, I may just be putting the final nail in the coffin for our Audi team here by breaking this news, but earlier today I signed up for a BSS race (same one as you Kyle if you remember) and was in second place when my wheel disconnected and reconnected and went full leftward lock and didn't steer back. Changed name all set. Thanks for the heads up.Noël Lüneburg, like that. You should be able to copy it from here into a text box in Photoshop.

With the amount of drivers we have Bedo mentioned last night it's a good idea to get a full driver cycle in early that way everyone has a chance to drive a good car. I'm on-board with this.I'm here for the entirety of the race, so use me wherever you need me. Based off how Daytona went, I might not make it to the last two hours, but it looks like Davey and Noel have us anchored pretty well anyways!
Nicely done with the fuel chart. I don't think we should have a problem getting down to 23 stops depending on how much crunching we need to do. I'm going to be aiming for 8:49's to 8:50's depending on the weather but last night pulled a low 8:46 out of my ass somehowHere is a preliminary fuel chart for the C-Spec:

If we want to do the race in 23 stops if all goes well, we need to shave off 3 stops. This looks worse than it is because without fuel saving we'd be coming in with around 0.8 laps left (12-13 L remaining) and thus can't utilize the full capacity of the tank.
Flat out we can easily do 6 laps (~54 minutes excluding pit stop) and to do 7 laps we need to save approximately 0.2 laps in a stint (resulting in a stint of ~1h 3m).
If we choose to want to do 24 or 25 stops that means that we'll have to do less 7-lap stints in the race.
Thanks. Better? yes a bit. I'd say it has the best suspension I've used yet. I feel confident going over the smaller curbs, as you see me do in the video @ 3:16 and 6:16 but it will never be half as good as the Mercedes. In fact I've hit a few ones at high speed and it definitely seems to be able to shrug them off as long as they're not death traps.Good luck in the race Kyle!
Just out of curiosity, is the set you're using able to handle curbs better? I actually saw a YouTube video the other day of someone in the Audi taking curbs like a boss.
Schedule looks good to me. I do like driving a lot indeed but right now I almost have a driving share of a 3-man team. I don't mind it but if other drivers might be on the short end because of it, so I'm perfectly fine giving up on an hour or so out of the 7.That fuel chart is pretty cool! Can I add it into the schedule spreadsheet as a separate page?
I saw that everyone put in their availability schedule. I'm not sure how you guys like to drive, or what your endurance racing habits are, but I went ahead and blocked in a preliminary schedule.

I allocated single stints for everyone as early as possible so that everyone has as high as chance possible of driving a good car early on.
I understand that Noel likes to drive a lot, so I tried to allocate as much as time possible for him (7 stints).
I tried to be cognizant of the fact that Davey will be traveling, but also probably not sleeping.
I also made sure you guys have enough breaks in between stints to go eat, take a shit, whatever...
Let me know what you think, and feel free to shift stuff around.
Also, there will most likely be some time-drift and one stint might get eliminated toward the 11th hour or so. Some of this will need to be played by ear.
If you guys feel like the stints are too short, I'm also open to splitting the team if we can do 4 drivers per team. Unless you're all ironmen.![]()
Good news that you're still participating. Would have been cool to intimidate the lil' Mazdas with B2O cars in two classes but this will have to doI've joined a new team, Team Wardogs, for the race - our setup is very different - with highest wing setting (F) the top speed is extremely low now (10 km/h difference) but the time made up everywhere else means that I'm still doing my PB lap times (just slightly off) but much more reliably.
