It's aliiiivveeeeeee
Still playing with the settings, but out of the box the responsiveness and feeling under load is so far above a belt driven wheel. Even when the wheel is loaded up (e.g. in a high speed corner) it can still apply very small forces to give you feedback about the car. It provides that feedback immediately, so the whole experience feels much more alive. When my CSW would sort of deaden out this thing always has the torque to provide clean fidelity.
From a hardware stand point it's amazing. It's built like a tank. The LED display is actually super useful. It's got some cool diagnostic tools like a torque graph and stats about the health of the wheel base. More importantly though it mirrors the steering wheel setup menu on a much bigger, easier to read, screen. So when you're changing settings for the wheel or the base, it's displayed on the nicer LED on the base.
So far my rig hasn't been an issue. I flattened out the wheel plate and bolted it all down super tight. I've felt a tiny bit of flex, but nothing that ruins the experience. I'll definitely be looking in to an 80/20 rig sometime this year just to get something completely rigid.
