What a race. Incredible driving by @Nejtun and @ShadniX . That's my best finish in a big endurance event, and at Nurbs no less...one of my nemesis tracks down, Sebring to go.

Night driving was every bit as intense as we expected. The amount of concentration it took was really tiring. More than once I rounded a corner to see headlights staring back at me like owl eyes. I didn't find it enjoyable, but @ShadniX seemed to and absolutely killed it for us at night. He did most of the driving and he did it damn well. I was somehow lucky enough to get the sunrise stint and got to experience the visibility change over: I gained 10s a lap in two laps.

Overall I didn't find the DD wheel caused me any issues, but it was tiring during double stints. By the second part of a double I was generally pretty sweaty and my arms were starting to get tired.

Congrats to the Porsche team as well, great drive in the top split. The Mercedes team definitely win my spirit of the race award. Great job to keep getting back out there and going for it. Four engines is intense lol.

Looking forward to blasting around LeMans in an LMP1!

Well, after 15 hours of sleep I'm awake. Great job everyone! Still disappointed in myself for eating the wall but it's amazing we got to finish!

Good drives, everyone! I'm surprised by the number of teams that gave up, even in top-split, and I'm glad we didn't! Just really annoyed by iRacing's damage model that it took so long for our steering wheel to be straight, but at least they did it eventually!

Terrific work everyone, a pleasure as always driving with you all.

Podium in the BMW with exhausted drivers is a miraculous feat, terrific work gents.

Also the Porsche did a terrific job; finishing in the Top 10 is always a fantastic result after 24 hours so you too should be proud.

Lastly, the tenacity of our Team in the face of prolonged adversity is awe inspiring. I was ready to throw in the towel at that point but the Team rallied and brought us back into it.

Gaming in general with you all is always good fun but Endurance is on a whole other level. You all handle yourselves with grace and professionalism and it's always humbling to be even a small part of it.

Apologies I was a a debbie downer on this one but my God, wtf iRacing? I admit this is probably the most frustrated I've ever been with iRacing and its damage/repair model.

As pissy as I was there were a few lessons I learned from this race:
  1. It's not over until it's over: No matter how bad things are you can always rally and make a race of it. It's as simple as turning the frown upside down.
  2. There is a right time for group comms: As much as we always try to occupy a single channel there are times when it's simply not possible.

Nobody can deny he is fast in an F1 but we all know he is lacking in racecraft while being an asshole at the same time. For those who are still in doubt, watch his incident with Ocon at Brazil in T1 where he lost the win and let his ego stand in the way of a victory.

Great race, @Noodleguitar @QuadroMan1. This was by far the most challenging 24H I've been a part of. The night was not kind. Thank you for qualifying us in the top split Noel, and thank you John for all the work you put into setting up the car!

Yes, well done Porsche fellows. This was not an easy car to drive at all but I think we did well. We all had an oops that cost us here and there but we finished the race while almost half our class did not. Especially well done through the night, that must have been really dark for a long while.

@QuadroMan1 in the end did you get any closer to finding the optimal tire pressures? :D

I still think I found the pressures that work best for *me*, however it turns out other people drive their tires differently  I think that's what really threw it off was when I tried to throw my pressures at Bedo

@Nejtun @Brainling @ShadniX Amazing effort guys. I can't imagine how tough that must have been with only 3 drivers for 24 hours. I've been really bummed. I couldn't participate due to things out of my control but I still can't shake the feeling that I let the team down. All I can do now is worry about the future but it's hard to remember that sometimes. I look forward to being there to support you in future endeavors.
