I hope iRacing hasn't implemented that Roo patch yet.
Well done!!Almost pulled it off
I thought the same thing. By myself, in a test session, I feel like I'm really quick, and then I join a practice session and a GT3 might as well be a prototype. Appears out of no where.. has grip that I hadn't even dreamed of having... Also, really scared of just head-butting the T2 wall on an out-lap forgetting I have cold tyres.Ok so just thought I'd give Noel's set a try (as I like driving the Cup car) and when you go out on cold tires in that car in a field full of GT3's it's simply terrifying!
Yep that summed up my experience perfectly.a GT3 might as well be a prototype. Appears out of no where.. has grip that I hadn't even dreamed of having...
Yeah, setup was fine. I was not afraid of getting bored, with the walls and all the crazy GT3s doing unpredictable things. There have been a few "moments", where one of the slower GT3s let me pass, and I was too busy looking at where he was going to go that I missed my braking point at turn 2 and almost got myself into the wall. Luckily I managed to avoid everything else in the race and finished with a clean car and 0 incidents.Well done!!
...so... setup seems okay? or did you fully Nöel-ify to make it 200% scarier, to prevent you from "...getting bored..."?
Yeah, I saw on the broadcast that you were climbing hard. Too bad of the ending, it seems if you make a mistake at Bathurst you must either get very lucky or your race ends@Noodleguitar I was up 25 spots from starting position. Brain fade coming out of the metal grate at the top of the mountain and pinballed the walls. Followed up by rage quit. Congrats on the win!!!!!
Fuel Buddy does work, so I hear, but mine always crashes on launch. If it gives you an "Avg Fuel per Lap" number, thats all that really matters.@Skid_Marc_ @Noodleguitar Do we use Fuel Buddy anymore? Does it still work?
