I'm uploading Part 1 of Sundays Gameday, should be up within the next few hours on Fragtard's YouTube Channel (providing my Internet doesn't crap out).

I've done something a bit different with this in that I'm attempting to tell a bit of a story.

...also, this video will be in either 2 or 3 parts (haven't decided which) as I have over 2 hours of gameplay.

As a side note, thanks to all that joined in on our very first Community Playday. We didn't have a lot that joined but I think those that did enjoyed themselves (or so I hope).

I can say that I laughed so bl00dy much that I was hoarse Sunday night and my throat was killing me all day Monday.

...and yes that's from laughing, not from bl0wing you f3cking pervs!

I actually wasn't too happy with the way the video rendered in HD when uploaded to YouTube because the source video is certainly a lot clearer.

I may have to up my settings just a bit during final rendering just to see if it looks better once uploaded.

It was funny watching it from your point of view... it summed up "fragtard" I think - look forward to seeing part 2 and 3! :lol:

Ya that is the funniest part of all lol.

Some of these will eventually make there way on to our About Us Page so as to give people an idea of what we're about.

I'll balance it out with tactical stuff as well, that way people won't think we're just a bunch of goofs.

Looking forward to the next one actually, now I know the basics of it, all the keys etc. I'm looking forward to some tactical play in the next one :)

I've already created a Custom Mission for ArmA3 that needs some flushing out. This isn't the 00ber Mission I've been talking about, this is a much smaller and more accessible mission.

I've used a fair amount of variable terrain in this one and so far it's pretty fun but also quite difficult.

I just have to work out the final objective, JIP, and Blufor/Opfor/Player respawn system and then I'll ask the Community for help testing it.

Average playtime goal = 45 - 60 minutes regardless of # human player count present.

It isn't currently scalable, it's one of the things I'm trying to work on. It's something I've been working on with the 00ber mission and it's difficult to get the balance right.

What ends up happening is you either get overrun and pushed back to a start point or you blaze through the mission and are left dissatisfied.

If I can get it to scale in increments as low as 2 or 3 players I'll be happy. At this point I'll be happy if I can get the scale right at increments of 5 players.

I've been away during the Easter holiday and it was great fun to watch the game from someone else viewpoint. Too bad I had to quit as early as I did. I will try to stay longer next time :)

I think it was a combination of you not being able to stay long and a few arriving a bit late. I was there the whole time and got to play in two completely different play styles, one somewhat tactical and organized, the other a free for all.

That was a fun day and I look forward to many in the future.

Hopefully I can have Part 2 finished tonight. What's taking so long is I'm trying to compress well over 2 hours of gameplay down into about 40 minutes; not as easy as I originally thought.

I'm nearly done Part II. The reason it's taking so long is I'm trying to condense close to 90 minutes of material to 30 minutes total run time.

Another thing I've noticed is that if you're viewing the video for the comms you won't be disappointed If however you're viewing the video for action and comms then it falls a bit flat.

I'm really trying to beef up the action a bit between Part I and Part II but it's not easy.

Hopefully I'll have it completed by mid-week.
