Hello Drivers,

As many of you know the last few Seasons has seen a lot of progress in how we run our Blancpain Sprint Series League.

I'm happy to report that I think all the ground work is now complete so it's time to actually kick off just in time for 2016.

At this time we'll only be committing to S1; the future relying of course on whether or not we have enough Drivers to race regularly.

e-mails have been sent out to everyone currently on the Drivers List so please either respond to fragtardnet@gmail.com or state your interest here.

Lastly, there will be a topic posted at iRacing later in the week advertising the League so I'll ask you please respond once posted.

Thank all of you who stuck with the small grids and helped during the critical testing phase. We simply wouldn't be here without all your valuable input!

Kyle Breen-Bondie #77 Audi R8 LMS... er BMW.

The first few races are tentative for me. One would fall on Christmas and the next on new years day. Just so you're aware. Probably wouldn't be reliable until the 8th.

Kinda the same with Kyle, Don't think I'll make it to the first two I usually go away for my birthday and New Years since they're a day apart. But I'm game for the rest of the season.

I figured the Holidays would be a no show for most people so no worries there guys.

This really is more of a head count for now anyway.

Davey, what car are you planning on running?

Noël Lüneburg (ïnclüdïng ümläüts!), car #88, McLaren MP4-12C GT3.

For me as well, I most likely can't make it during Christmas and New Year's.

I think mostly I'm going to be in the Ford GT, but may switch it up between The McLarry and the Bowel Movement Wagon.

I put you down for the Ford so if you change it up you change it up :)

We're up to 5 confirmed, hopefully we can get at least 5 more.

Here we go guys first B2O League race for S1 2016, just want to get a approximated time when people will get on. I'm assuming we will be running Zandvoort following official BSS schedule?

Guessing these next few weeks will be a shorter car count since we're approaching the holidays but I'm hoping we can get most of the gang together and also recruit some new members. This said Duke or Daunt has there been a thread posted in Iracing's forum to help promote? I know there was talk of it but haven't seen one posted yet to bump the crap out of it.

Anyways looking forward to a fresh start with the season and racing with all you guys again!

The iRacing thread will be posted over the Holidays. I've taken time off during Christmas to publish 2 or 3 League Videos and they will all be included in that thread.

Tonight I'll be on at 7 - 7:30 PM EST as always.

I definitely think we should practice tonight (and during the holidays for the people that can and want to). However, wouldn't it be better to officially start the league in week 4 of this season, after the holidays?

I think we still have to set some things in stone, such as setting up Danlisa, clarifying the rules regarding drive-throughs and point scoring etc.

I know you wrote a lot of stuff down already Duke but unless I've missed something we probably need to add what I mentioned to give any member or interested people a complete picture.

Let's see how many people show up and make the call then. I agree that it will be tough to get people on during the Holidays so we can adjust as necessary.

We can discuss what you mentioned above tonight because given the way iRacing scores do we even need danlisa is my question?

The other stuff I can address tonight but essentially the rule of thumb is drive through penalty if an advantage can be gained. We'll use drive throughs to police unnecessary contact (like Zac's done already) and quick repairs prior to Pit Window.

I thought we only had 6 drivers confirmed but there are still a few missing in the first post :).

So the qualifying race starts at 8:30 EST?

This reminds me... considering I haven't ran races yet, I'm going to switch this season to the McLaren.

My biggest motivation is to be mid-engine ready for next season. Because... :icon_cheesygrin:

Ya I thought I'd wait a few weeks in to see who actually shows up.

Not everyone took the time to respond to the e-mail message sent out through iRacing League so I thought I'd delay things a bit and kill 2 birds with one stone.
