I had issues similar to this in one race but not in the other. Maybe the temperature was different and suited the tires better, or I drove more carefully. I didn't have problems in the kink mostly, it was usually when going on the throttle, or braking into turn 1. We're definitely not going to gain more time from losing fuel than losing time from losing tires, no matter what we do to the tires.I did a full fuel run and was 30 laps. Using Noel's second set but took the wing to 0 and diff to 30. Drives great at first, but then around lap 18, the car seems to start getting loose where you have to very cautious through turn 1 and the kink. Has anyone else had this issue? Although you would expect time gains from the lighter car, I didn't find that to be the case as I had to drive more cautiously.
Were you close to doing 31 laps, Deb? From the fuel numbers I have right now from Nejtun and myself we should be able to do 32 laps at full speed and still have 2.3 L left.
Here is a preliminary fuel schedule:

It seems we are looking at 25-26 stints.
