Main Base loads in for me fine as well @Dave301 unless I spawn inside of it, then it takes time to render all the asserts.
The game in general does this though rendering only parts of the map, then low textures then finally higher poly models. The reason the Main Base may take longer for you to load in is due to the amount of things in it. If you were to do the same to the base up North you would experience the same issues.

Did it repair anything when verifying?
Don't know. It just said all files successfully veryfied or something all this line.
Could make it load in now. Removed some programs/games/etc from my system. Like all Microsoft Apps I don't use.
The main base loaded in. It just took some time, moving around, waiting but I got it ALL to load in, so its ok for now.
