...boys.... tent city is getting raided....i swam out...was just bout to grab a weapon when ...... boom there is a bandit there... i froze no weapon....unable to scroll to bring up tent options.....he looked at me and started to draw his weapon....it looked like an antenna...it was long...and massive.....and i was scared...so l logged out....no Alt f4...going back after re-start....

going for a higher post rate...

OK thanks Duke....Anyway there must be a glitch with the patch.....the tents and stuff sometimes appear after a re-start and sometimes don't....the latter is the case in this situtation... I re-spawned where the tent city should have been....but alas to no tents....so I moved farther away and logged out... So try a re-start and lets see where that takes us.....

We had some fun with the chopper last night, tonight part 2
Most fun part was me landing on the isle. running towards the tents and suddenly i hear the turbine starting...as fast as i can respond i turn around and start shooting the engine, suddenly chopper stops and a guy jumps out shouting, i am unarmed why would you shoot me, i am trying to play.... I replied: Dont touch our chopper...*click* boom...whining ends.


Btw, i can restart the server early if you want, i have early shift so home early and noone on the server or website when i am home, really is a bugger to join game just to find out vehicles/tents havent spawned.
I'll have a chat tonight about a NL based server if all goes well

Ok...who were those little guys last night.....took the chopper and never came back..... and the ural...... I say we hunt them and kill them..... I waited for the chopper to come back but next thing i hear is it's doing low level fly bys over Cherno and Electro...... so I don't know....


Last I heard is that their camp got blown up.....

I didnt really trust them, thats why i just showed him some camps we found up the north east area, far away from ours
I heard him talking about a camp near the SW AF?
Anyway, if i didnt know that wappy was in the chopper i'd probably shot it when the guy sneaked in the pilot position the second i ejected, he didnt even ask, and it was clear ninja had said he wanted to fly after i left....

We certainly want to get new members here but I would not trust them with our big camp stuff of the bat.

You can certainly help kit them but I wouldn't trust anyone off the bat regardless of whether or not they join us on TS. It takes time to gain someone's trust so even the newbies should have to put some effort forth to be welcomed to the fold.

...at least in this game.

Either that or make it clear what they can and cannot touch.

I dont trust anybody ,least if all you tards , but ethan was getting on my nerves last night, gave some severe me60 flasbacks .
I warned him last night and its the only warning he'll get .
Next time he gets a temp ban from ts .
Ruger on the other hand is dangerous , that stunt he pulled with taking the chopper was borderline.....

Well you have SA D.O.A. so if you find them pushing it then let them know where the line is drawn.

It's imperative that we make these newbies feel welcome but some people will try to take a mile for every inch given so you have to always weigh that fact.

At no time should a newbie feel like they have carte blanche to all the stuff you guys worked so hard to accumulate; h3ll, I won't even take something without asking or having it forced upon me and I know all you n00bs.

The only thing D.O.A. is try not to ban unless its extreme. People quite often can get the message from being kicked and those that can't will work their way toward a ban on their own.

Typically I like to try to adhere to the "3 strike your out" scenario; if it works in baseball it should work here.

Yeah well , with the current state of DayZ (and the data server "hick ups" ) its of littlematter if they steal or wreck something .
After a restart everything is back in its place again .

BUT if and when DayZ gets more polished and stuff actually gets saved they better frickin watch their step ....

Well...I decided against the V....whatever the hell that truck.. and went for Quicksilver's bike...which happened to be there after a couple of hours.... I grabbed the glass... the gerry can and hopped on the Bicycle....was on it for a few minutes... less than 5... I was doing the head swivel..checking behind me, the road was Straight...the Coast road to Berizihnio... and as i was turning my head back to the road...I was in the Ocean, I could see the burnt out hull of the chopper sinking just in front of me... so I thought hacker...I forgot to get off the bikecycle..and when I logged back in ,, I was in the riding postion,.. as I looked around me I could see the UAZ, a Tractor, 2 ATVs... I think all the vehicles were there... I am about 2m under the water...stuck in the riding postion, I tried 5 different ways to disconnect so it would spawn me on the beach somewhere. On the plus side it kept a couple of my spawn bodies.. so there was lots of glass... on the down side I have a 8 slot coyote pack... and nothing in my main inventory is sticking.... so Can someone do a server restart...see if this fixes any thing... I even tried to connect to a different server same result..... the vehicles are all between Otmel Island and Drakon Island...bout 60m from shore.....
