That's just for my own math. My PB from last season is 1:24, but can't get more than 1:26 now. I'm disliking the car on this track.

I will make more calculations based on faster paces. In 2sec increments.

Damn! Very nice. I'll probably be pretty happy with low 1:24s race time. Did he tweak your setup a bit, or use a new one?

But I do believe it would be best if the teams were different, especially if we could get a Practice Pals car or something as well. That said, different can be almost anything, so even if one team changes the stripe, that's still a 'simple' three paint schemes right there for the three teams.


I do need to address one thing O/T from the paints, though, just as a heads up. Throughout the course of the race, things happen, and I understand getting frustrated at one person or another. It happens in races all the time and I'm both guilty myself, and unfazed when others do it in the moment.

HOWEVER, please keep in mind that these races are both being streamed live AND being recorded for use on Youtube. PLEASE don't spend, dare I say waste, other peoples time telling them what happened to you outside of just telling them to beware of an agressive driver and his number. 1.) its distracting to the other drivers in TS who are trying to focus, and 2.) comments like this start to appear;

I tried to edit as much out, and most of it was fine. Crude humor and prodding I also do not have a personal problem with, but that's just me. I'm someone who likes to keep the moral up. That said, I would prefer personal complaints and comments about other drivers to be dealt with between you and the other drivers.

If this continues to be an issue, then I'll have to back out of TS, which I think would be unfortunate. I think most of the commentary over the last few races keeps the video's light and interesting. I'm not asking for PG or even PG-13. Just need to keep the comments about other drivers to a minimum.

That's not the answer and for the record here guys I won't let it get to that.

Band of Others is a brand just like any other and given the amount of time and finances I've sunk into it, I'll do anything to protect it.

This is a Team Sport so it's only Team if we're together while racing.

If one person cannot play well within that Team environment then that person will be removed from the Team.

This is about as black and white as it gets. The greater good here is the Team and not scarring the brand; I will do everything in my power to protect both.

In the meantime though, no other offers are to go out to other drivers to join this Team. As a Team we should all have say into who gets added/removed so from now on no other drivers will be accepted without approval from your Teammates.

Is the racefuel total still around 33 gallons ish? So less than what was needed at monza? I'm stupid and didn't run fuel buddy when I was practicing all over the weekend.

Literally start it, fill in how many race minutes at the bottom, then just run practice as normal. It will detect the track and car you're in automatically. After a decent run, check fuel buddy and it will display how much fuel you used on average per lap, and based on your time you put, how much total fuel you'd need for that amount of time.

I know what you mean, but its not something you run side by side and all that crap. Just run it in the background and check it after a longer drive session. So do 10+ laps, check it and that's that. That's why I like it. Very lightweight and straightforward.

I'm still really PO'd about the whole flag thing. For those of you who didn't understand what happeend:

With half a dozen laps to go I was in a tight battle for sixth. The second place car came up behind me (I was in seventh) and rather than lap us, he kindly laid back and let us battle it out... he had enough time to finish ahead without any worries of the third place driver.

So the whole six laps I have the blue flag, even though he has no intentions of passing me. This gets to be very annoying and apparently I had no idea that it would NOT show me a yellow flag that should have been displayed at one point, and more importantly, never showed me the white flag.

In the end, I'm not sure I'd have passed him still, but I had no idea the race had ended until I crossed the finish line, fully expecting to get the white flag when I instead got the checkered.

Sorry about your corner cut man. It really blows on the first lap. Hopefully for future reference now we know when you cut on the first lap you HAVE to almost stop. It sucks but maybe something iRacing should address

Same thing with this one flag shown thing. My post is not meant to be whiny. I'm still happy with my finish, just really stupid that iRacing can't show more than 1 flag (not counting black flags)

Also ken, please note that the new definition of pulling a Kyle is leading a lap, as Zac stated during the race stream. I finally rebuilt my image! Now the definition of pulling a Ken may be getting a 1 minute penalty in the first lap.
