Sorry to point this out but you now have two definitions Kyle, not one, as follows:
The black flag was patently ridiculous, I had no idea it was that stupid. I let the entire field past me, came nearly to a complete stop, had to pit in and wait 18 seconds on top of it.
By the time all was said and done, a move that may have gained at best 2 tenths cost me just over a minute.
iRacing really needs to address this issue and there's no reason they cannot. This is after all a database driven program that has your all time best lap recorded, you can actually select it and practice against it.
They could easily penalize you using this, your qualify time, grid position or all of the above but instead do nothing and drop you a lap down.
I love iRacing but some of the important stuff they let slide seems a bit silly to me.
- Pulling a Kyle: Leading a lap because the fast guys are in the Pits.
- Kyle Botch: dodgy driving that doesn't only lose time, it loses body parts.
