One thing you notice straight away when using VR is the elevation changes of the tracks are much more accurate. The corkscrew at Laguna Seca and Paddock at Brands make my stomach lurch and that's exactly how I imagine it would feel. The Nordschleife is just completely different in VR. You don't notice how much the track dips and dives all over the place, it's really something.

Yeah exactly. This I think is the biggest difference for me when it comes to the VR/2D comparison. The scale is the most realistic part, especially on scanned tracks.

I do, but I cannot use it for full races, the screen door is too damn apparent for me. I might give it another go and see because from what I remember it was pretty awesome.

Although, I feel like Chester the molester when I only have a stache with my glasses. Maybe I'll just go sans glasses for the pic then shave my stache off after pic is completed. No, I'm not excited or anything.
