Marc and I both Streamed the entire race so you can see both views on either of our Twitch Channels.

I've witnessed several streamers talk about it. There was a german team that had the exact same happen.
Altho they thought the weather was bugged as it was around 44/46c track temp for all sessions they joined during last week.

Noël, that 1.47 was well earned, and made quite the statement before that Endurance went green!

The next BES race is on October 10, two weeks from now.

If you want to get in the "Band of Others" split you can have somebody else register for you with around 2k iRating. That person needs to be on your team then but once he does that he cannot race with another team in the same race.

Yup, 12x on lap 0. I was actually punted on the Pace Lap which was awesome.

ID jumped in so we managed to go from gridding 33rd and finished 14th.

That was a ton of fun, Probably way more fun than if we were to both go solo and sit in different splits!

I'll see where i get with my own irating after "graduating" to C, if it's somewhat similar i'll try it on my own if not i'll ask around to see who isn't in BES but does have the required road irating.

I hoped to get in some laps today but i just came back from a pretty long day of trucking.

I also noticed the McLaren still had the wrong wheel colours from Marc's stream. I've changed them to be the same as the BMW now.

I have no idea why the rim color would be different as I changed them all prior to the race Saturday?

They should all be that hex code #490000 (or something like that) and Matte.

The previous color was too red and Chrome made them all look like old lady lipstick.

Maybe instead of the McLaren on the McLaren team you changed the BMW on the McLaren team? All I know is the McLaren didn't have that code, it had something like #790000, it didn't show which material was used.

I did use chrome, so I'll change that to matte.

The red definitly changes to a darker type if you select chrome.
I had this issue with the Aston and my orange wheels.

Well, i'm off to get my eyes checked then.

The Aston went from matte to chrome and the orange got darker.
I've been fucking around with it and then just decided to switch back to matte on the wheels as it doesn't want to match the orange on the car if set to chrome.
I'm using SweetFX tho, but i don't think that adds any changes to colortemps.

I don't know why it does that for you, it's the complete opposite for me and virtually everyone else.

Chrome catches the light a lot more than Matte so it almost looks illuminated when hit by sunlight. Matte reflects light a lot less so looks darker in direct sunlight.

Maybe the effect is color dependent?

What Duke says is true but who knows how exactly accurate our rendering system is. It's quite old so I wouldn't expect it to be right.

Could be a difference in monitor settings, I've also noticed rim colours will slightly alter from car to car.

It's probably because of the lighting effects. I think chrome usually looks darker but Marc ran light blue matte wheels at Phillip Island and they looked very bright in the sun. If you look at either sides of the car you can probably already see a color intensity difference.

It's completely the opposite on red Noel, at least these two reds. That's why we're using a dimmer red than the one I set previously and also why we've switched from Chrome to Matte.

Chrome on the Endurance Rims looks like very shiny old lady lipstick where Matte matches the duller red color on the vehicle stripes. It is the same hexadecimal value in fact.

So was everyone taking 4 tires and full fuel for their 2 pit stops? Or any attempt at doublestinting the tires?

I forgot, but doesn't the driver swap occur during the normal pit process? I know refuel cannot happen during tire change, but can your driver swap countdown occur during refueling? I know in BSS (I think) they swap while changing tires.

I'm pretty sure everyone was taking tires in their pit stops. It only takes about 10 seconds I think, and it is easy to lose at least 0.31 seconds per lap over 32 laps in your next stint with tires that start with ~70% tread remaining.

Full fuel was necessary in both stops. In our split it was reasonable because we only did 96 laps. However, in the first split on Sunday they had to do 100 laps because of colder weather. This meant pretty much everybody had to fuel save and there were a couple of pro teams that actually ran out of fuel near the end, mostly Rufs .
