he can always kill two birds with one stone and use the qually session to also do practice? the weather is the same as the race and the qually sessions go off every single hour at 5 minutes past

I think the issue is he doesn't have much time to practice today if at all. I spoke to Wyatt and he said split is set by iRating and grid is by QT. So probably makes sense to average my and Bedo's iRating, which should put us in the 2ks and then use my QT, which would likely put us at the back of the grid. Probably not a bad place to be for Road Atlanta. We'll see.

The qually goes right up until the race itself, so what I meant was that if he was going to get some practice in before hand it might as well be in a qually session! without knowing how many times the GT3 field will split you do not know yet how far up or down the grid you will be until the session goes live so if either of you can set a faster time you can only move up the field :)

@Brainling I'm running 1:19's in race trim. I'm hopping on TS now and will be on for the next 3-4 hours. Sorry we haven't communicated verbally and gotten all the details hammered out. I thought I would have all kinds of time when I got back from Florida but that hasn't been the case. I have been able to do some practice though and can run 19's without being on the verge of grenading, I'm going to run a qualifying session tonight and I'll register us in the morning.

I know it's a late posting, but I could jump in the DP if needed. Would just need the setup and some laps of practice. Used to drive the DP there a lot. That's if someone needs a break or something. Let me know.

I'll try to see if I can get into a qualy session first thing in the morning. It will be my first time practicing for the race too. What car and setup are we running? I'll check in the morning and get right on it! :)

Good luck everyone!

I'm deeply sorry I can't be here today and turn laps with you fine folk or cheer you on live but you're in my thoughts and I'll be checking in when possible throughout the morning.

Remember it doesn't matter how you finish the fact you're out there means your doing us at B2O proud!

Congrats to the finishers. I saw DP team finished in 7th, unless something happened in last 5 minutes. You guys doing Bathurst 1000? If so, I'd like to jump in. Haven't been in the V8SC since I ran the league with you, so would be nice to run it again.

This was one of the most intense races I've ever been in. Managing traffic was absolutely insane. Apparently, we got into the second split (is this right? I didn't check) so it was very competitive. We started 12th out of 18 in class. We were running in 9th in the first two stints and then, true to the Ferrari brand, with great Italian fanfare, the engine blew. I don't know what happened after, but when I got back home I saw Ryan running the car in 8th.

Great job to the team for trekking on. This was super fun!

There is a problem thread about the ferrari blowing up. We were not the only ones.

I thought it was a great race aside from the engine blowing! We ended up in 8th, same as where we were when the engine blew. I honestly think it was my best endurance race as I had to stretch myself. I ran more than 2 1/2 hours straight in heavy traffic with no spotters. I think my pace was reasonable, so all in all I felt darn good about the race :) Bedo drove amazing at the beginning in some insane traffic and engine blow is just so weird. Ryan rescued me in the knick of time and drove the last two stints at a great pace ;) And thanks to Marc and Nate for keeping me company, kept me sane through all that traffic. It was really cool being in the same split with them.

Congrats guys!!!.
I just saw on forum Bedo said engine blew so I thought it was bad but Im glad it went ok after all
I raced VLN second race and dindt qualy and I was still P1 after 2 laps,so low competition, really shame,it was so boring that Im sad I even raced

Yeah, if you didn't qualify, you were probably in the bottom split. As fast as you are, you probably didn't have much competition. I bet the turn out was low. Why they had VLN and Petit Le Mans on the same day makes no sense.

I do hope to run the next VLN, it is the last one.

It was just 1 split Deb,second race usually is just 1 but I did expect little more that is true
Wasnt this last VLN?Im not sure,I must check

Without a spotter? That's nuts! Honestly, of all endurance races, this one is where you need the spotter the most. Thanks for spotting me for two hours, the +/- system worked out great! I'm so happy that with all the setbacks we still ended up top 10!
