The traffic came in blocks. The track is so hard to pass at that much faster drivers get bunched up behind much slower ones, lapped or otherwise, and get impatient trying to pass creating some really harry situations.
I had a minor panic near the end of my final double stint. I got sweat in both my eyes, inside of a VR headset, with no easy way to wipe it out...so my entire final lap poor Jes had to listen to me complain because I basically couldn't see. I was driving the course almost on muscle memory and the few blurry glimpses of the track I could see. I somehow brought it home without hitting anything. Lesson learned: I'm going to get a head bandana to wear during long stints to absorb sweat from my brow.
