Hi, this is my third atempt to make a post.

I recognize a lot of names here and maybe some of you all recognize mine as well.
I still play FH1 over at pixel-fighters with Mosquito and some other former Wolf staff/ members. Infact i read about this place there, no idea where Wolfgaming.net went (no warnings of it being terminated issued) but i still visited there and posted right till the end.

• Web Browser used and Browser Version
• Was "Remember Me" selected when you logged in? This is especially important as your session ID may have expired during the time you were creating your post.

I have to say Im getting apprehensive about certain names coming back

So far everyone is a friend not foe. But It makes me anxious thinking about certain peple that might come back.

Dammit, I feared as much.

I can tell you right now that IE is likely going to be the source of the issue and there's probably little to nothing I can do about it. IE is absolutely a nightmare to deal with and it always forces webmasters to jump through hoops to get it to work properly all the time.

Fragtard in it's current state is running very few mods, none that are in the "New Post" or "Reply to Post" templates so that shouldn't be an issue.

The only thing I can do is update the site to the latest version of vBulletin and hope that fixes the problem.

Other than that the only solution is to not use IE; not the best solution if your married to it.

Incidentally, I've never been able to recreate these issues locally on my computer and others have reported no issues however, I know Rolfy has had nothing but issues with IE in the past. Rolfy's issue was the result of a buggy forum mod that was subsequently disabled and removed.

I wish I could do more but after 8 years of dealing with IE limitations I've come to realize as many Webmasters have that IE simply sux the big one.

I will likely close the forums for an hour or two sometime this upcoming weekend ans see if updating vBulletin solves the issue.

If you can, try and approach it with an open mind. Back in the day, the circumstances surrounding some relationships were strained unnecessarily due to a plethora of issues; some valid and some completely ridiculous.

We have all grown since our time together previously and hopefully everyone is adult enough to keep the past in the past and treat each new day as a new day.

The other thing is that no community will ever have a memberslist full of people who love each other. There will always be animosity between some but in those rare cases, it's just better to agree to disagree and move on.

You will not see member bashing or trolling around here or any site I run. I don't like people making other people uncomfortable so we deal with it behind closed doors (where it should be dealt with) and try to reach middle ground.

This has worked for years over at Lifesupporters.com and to date, only 2 or 3 members have ever had to be banned and it was only because of their refusal to take any ownership of their actions and/or cease causing drama toward other people.

...and that's a sensitive, interpersonal site dealing with relationships at all levels. If it can work that well at Lifesupporters it really should be a no-brainer here.

I understand Duke, I know there wont be member bashing going on, I just know that certain names appearing will make things uncomfortable for me. The best I can do is avoid them, and see how that works out.

I know you'll do your best, and Im not here to cause trouble, my anixety is just through the roof right now for all kinds of reasons and this just has me worried.

I'm sure there will be people dropping by that some people may not like being here but it's best not to ignore them. The whole idea of this site is fresh beginnings and if some people can't accept that what happened at wolf is in the past then they shouldn't be here. We are all just gamers trying to have a laugh at the end of the day, some people forget that.

The people that were part of Wolf are welcome here. If you want to stay and be adults toward one another, awesome, if you want to pull some stupid stunts aimed at hurting another person, not awesome. Simple, I don't see us actively admining a server where people take things too seriously. What Fragtard is about is the community, not the server. We are here to talk crap and play games. No rules to keep big brother EA happy or the likes, but we will not tolerate bashing other members maliciously.

Online persona's mixed with the anonymity and a bit forum presence can be a very dangerous thing.

Now let's just all give RL the middle finger for a few hours.
