Agreed, Zac. I don't know how you can let another driver take that car out of the pit stall when you've had reports of enough fumes to burn the eyes of the previous driver. Thats serious disregard for your drivers safety.

That's what I thought! No way was the Huracan GT3, R8 and the others NOT GT3 spec.

When they visit Belle Isle (I'll be going this year, for the first time it's IMSA and not PWC coming with Indycar in June) the GTLMs aren't racing... it's only the GTDs and the two prototype classes. So that is good news for me.

Your article is from 2013, when they first introduced GTD, but new this year, there is no difference between GT3 and GTD. That is why so many new cars are coming in. It is almost literally plug and play, now.

I'm glad to hear it personally. I hate that they call it something else but still... I'm glad they have an exact GT3 equivalent. And I'll be able to see it this year.

...IMSA, which just penalized all five Huracans in the race by adding a pitstop and five more minutes to their overall time.

Additionally, all of Lamborghini's championship points from Daytona have been taken away and they have been fined $25,000.

I'm glad to see it. The new BoP measures that IMSA is taking is awesome, now that they can fully monitor how much each team sandbags during qualify and practice. Hopefully this will really make everyone hesitate to sandbag that much, and keep all the cars well balanced.
