EDIT: different air restrictor, aero changes and same wing for everyone <- why??
I'm glad to hear it personally. I hate that they call it something else but still... I'm glad they have an exact GT3 equivalent. And I'll be able to see it this year.
"...full FIA GT3-spec machinery to the GT Daytona class."
Your article is from 2013, when they first introduced GTD, but new this year, there is no difference between GT3 and GTD. That is why so many new cars are coming in. It is almost literally plug and play, now.
...IMSA, which just penalized all five Huracans in the race by adding a pitstop and five more minutes to their overall time.
I'm glad to see it. The new BoP measures that IMSA is taking is awesome, now that they can fully monitor how much each team sandbags during qualify and practice. Hopefully this will really make everyone hesitate to sandbag that much, and keep all the cars well balanced.Additionally, all of Lamborghini's championship points from Daytona have been taken away and they have been fined $25,000.
