Sounds awesome. I was hoping for more of a PvE thing going on as it didn't really feel "dangerous" out there. If the choppa is up for a fight then that's good. Gives us something to worry about/fight.
Sais the guys who gets killed by his own bear traps and falls asleep drunk in the open field just yards away from safety. No wonder the game doesn't feel dangerous if you are your own worst enemy, hahahahaha.
But yeah, I kind of felt the same way untill yesterday. Apart from the odd wolf/bear attack I felt reasonably safe, but then that chopper came along. BTW, a downed chopper will yield some very good/rare stuff, so yeah, it is worth fighting about/shooting at if you have the chance.
Just reread Duke's reply, and I just want to say, don't take my earlier post as if everybody should be out there chopping stones and trees, just wanted to give some sort of in character update on what's low on supply in the general materials depot, so anybody who wants to do some restocking doesn't need to go through 50 crates to see what's low on supply.
Please do whatever you want, wether it's mining, lumbering, scavenging, exploring, hunting, building base reinforcements or your own personal recreation of hoover dam. If you have your own idea's on how to fortify the base for aerial attack, please build them! When I started on an outer wall for the base, I only made a 30 meter stretch in the hopes that others will continue on it, so don't shrug to expand the base as you see fit if building is your thing, it's a community effort
I've built the materials depot for everybody to use, so if you need stuff, feel free to grab it, that's what the whole thing is there for. Of course if you have the ability to build some cool stuff from a blueprint you've learned feel free to craft a bunch of it and put it in stock for others to use. There's still some empty crates on second floor that can be filled with whatever you can make, and if certain crates get full we can always expand the building a bit like I did yesterday to create extra stock room. Restock of existing crates is always welcome of course!
